Comfortable, stretchy, sturdy fabric and fit as hoped and expected. I ordered 2 pairs, in different lengths and colors. The longer length, on my 5’1” frame, comes just above my knees, as I’d hoped. The shorter length is about mid thigh. Even at an XL (Womens 12/14) the wide waistband sits at the waist without rolling down as you bend forward, nor slip down as you’re walking. The fabric is not see through, offering even a little bit of support, yet soft, cool and comfortable, true to color with contrast stitching and with enough functionality for easy movement such as casual bicycle riding. The pockets in front are a smart detail although ornamental only, however the back pockets are flattering as well as functional. All in all, great value for the price. I can highly recommend! I bought three items from this line in the past few days—two pairs of yoga pants and these shorts, each fitting a bit differently. I love the feel of the fabric and the comfortable fit of the VOOVEEYA 5"/8" High Waisted Yoga Biker Shorts with Pockets for Women. I ordered a navy blue extra-large; at 145 pounds and 5 feet tall, they’re a bit tight but still comfortable. I washed them in cold water and line-dried them, and they didn’t shrink. Some of the stitching seems a bit loose, and after reading reviews about threads pulling, I suspect that might have happened if I hadn’t washed them in a lingerie bag. The fabric quality is very nice, but the stitching, seams, and thread quality may not be as good, which is why I took extra care. All three items had the same issues. Love these shorts so much! They offer the comfort of yoga pants, with the look of jeans. The fabric feels like since a nice quality of softness and smooth texture. The stretchy material makes them fit beautifully around my curves. As a woman with thick thighs, I love that these shorts go down close to my knees, because this prevents them from rolling up my thighs (so I'm don't need to constantly pull them back down like I do with other shorts).
