Easy to clean - best recommendation for a humidifier!

Pros: Superb design and powerful outflow with three speeds that rise water vapor high into air and throughout room. The choices between tank lights of cool blue and warm amber are a delight for setting moods and can be turned off to make unit barely noticeable. Water vapor seems lighter and more effective than past humidifiers we have used and completely soothes nasal passages and breathing overnight. Easy to clean tank. Finally a humidifier that makes that part easy! Entire lid lifts off - so simple. Easy to fill too - top filling so you don't even have to remove lid; that is another super well-designed advantage - no lugging entire tank to refill. I am using distilled water as we have very hard minerally water. As long as I use distilled we get no particulates (2.5 or 10) registering in air from our (separate) air purifier sensor. Cons: Base is slightly more complicated to clean only because you have to take the whole cord and plug with the base (other humidifiers I have used have a convenient disconnecting cord from base). There is an optional control for nightime use that turns off the lights from base. Which would be super except that it still leaves one light on above the control button to show it is in night mode. I moved the control panel on the base to face away from my bed and that helped a lot, but it would be better to have no lights for night time. Neutral: Unit comes with pads you can add essential oils to smell good, but we don't use that at all as we have allergies and asthma in house so tend to avoid adding extra stuff into the air. Great room humidifer with a small form factor

Really great, easy to use small humidifier. I am able to humidify a large master bedroom converted into a studio (I try to keep my guitars around 50% RH all year). Easy to fill, quiet, and lights are customizable. Good humidity, particularly given the size of the unit. Read more

Awesome humidifier!

I've been using this humidifier for a week and it has really helped to increase the humidity in our house. The difference was noticable very quickly and was verified by humidistats I have throughout the house. It works well in our living/dining room and kitchen area (all three rooms are in an open floor plan). My partner and I aren't coughing as much since I started using this. I like that there's a mineral filter as I can't justify buying a bunch of distilled water to use in the humidifier. We have a whole house water softener and filters, so the water we're using in the humidifier should be pretty good already. We've had in in one spot the entire week and I haven't seen any white dust accumulate in front of the mister, so the filter must be working well. I have it set to 60% humidity in order for our living area to be at around 50% humidity. It doesn't make much noise at all and I like that there's a night time feature to turn off the display lights. It took me a bit to figure out how to turn the display back on though. You can press the red moon once to see the current settings and it'll go dark again, so you have to press the red moon twice so it'll change back to white and the display will stay on. My only issue is that the refill platform is really shallow and it's difficult to pour more water into it without making a mess. The tank is removable, but it's too heavy for me to carry when it's full of water. It was also difficult to get the lid back on with the outer fill platform as I wasn't sure which piece needed to go on first, but I eventually got both to snap back into place. It took some getting used to and playing around with the settings, but it's fairly straightforward. If you aren't as tech savvy, it might help to have someone else with you to help you set it up. *Update 12/19/2025 After using this humidifier continuously for about a week, we started having issues with our furnace (specifically limit circuit lockout and fault status codes). So our furnace would run for less than 5 minutes, then lockout for 3 hours before resetting, running for less than 5 minutes before locking out again for 3 hours, and repeating this continuously. The temperature in our house dropped by 10 degrees as our furnace wasn't working. It took another week before I noticed the filter on our air purifier was caked with a white powdery residue (I only checked because it sounded off when it was running). My partner had checked the furnace filters earlier in the week as it was a recommended troubleshooting step, but since they still looked clean (they were less than two months old) he put them back in. When I checked them today, there was white powder that came off of them when I pulled them out and I compared the used filter and pre filter with the new spare ones we had. The used one was still white, but looked more opaque than the new one and there was white powder on it when I wiped it with my finger. I unplugged the humidifier and put the new filters in the furnace and now it's working again. I had also noticed I had been feeling ill the past few days, but figured it was from the house being cold. After looking online, I'm thinking my symptoms came from these tiny white dust particles from the humidifier for several days. I will say that initially the humidifier helped our dry coughs from low humidity, but caused other health issues. I checked the mineral filter and it doesn't seem like it caught any of these tiny particles in it, even though they're likely minerals. I thought the lack of white dust on objects around the humidifier meant that the mineral filter was working. It's hard to justify buying several gallons of distilled water (at least 1 gallon per day would be needed) due to the cost and plastic consumption when I figured our water softener and triple filter system for our house's water supply would be sufficient as there was a mineral filter in this humidifier. I'm disappointed that this product seemed to be helping fix our low humidity, but caused more other issues than it solved such as other health issues and having to prematurely replace costly filters for the air purifiers and furnace. I hope to look into getting an evaporative humidifier after the holidays as those don't expel troublesome white dust into the air. All this happened within two weeks of continuously using the humidifier. Read more

Pretty good.

A bit finicky to get working, but once it does work it's silent, pretty powerful, and holds a lot of water. Being able to fill this from the top without having to remove the whole tank is awesome. You can still take the entire tank off if you need to as well. Only complaint I have is that the buttons are kind hard to use and even harder to see, but luckily they provide a lock button, so you can set it how you want it and leave it. Very satisfied. Works good!

Don’t hesitate- nyc local here (old building controlled heat (high heat furnace) = dry cold weather outside. This stopped the dry throat at least. Just be sure to use distilled water. Read more
