For starters, the Vortex Radian Carbon with ball head can easily accommodate someone who is 6’4” tall. Not many tripods can accommodate tall people and keep things stable. Huge plus for Vortex and tall users of this tripod. The legs of the tripod are quickly configured to meet the requirements of the terrain and the person, whether standing or sitting. There is no center elevation post, so nothing gets in the way if a person is partially sitting under the tripod. If you are using this tripod while looking over the horizon for hours on end, this one will let you get comfortable and do a better job of observation/glassing. A brief review of competitors models found them to be heavier and not as tall as the Vortex Radian Carbon. This tripod is very well made and designed to provide maximum stability.
