This was very easy to install. I have minimal plumbing experience and this was still easy to do. The instructions are clear and complete. This filter does not take up a lot of room under the cabinet and is mounted to the wall or cabinet. This kit came with everything I needed for the install. I did notice a slight reduction in my cold water pressure since installation but nothing to significant. I feel like it functions as it should. I haven't noticed a chlorine smell in my water since installation. For a family of 3 the filter should easily last 9 months to a year. I'm not sure on filter replacement. The only thing that I'm finding concerning is that I cannot find a replacement filter for it. In the description it claims that it's $29 but I have yet to find the exact same filter. I'm not sure if you can buy one of their more expensive upgraded ones and it would still fit or not. Read more

This water filter is amazing! I know a water filter is normally not something to get excited about, but I happen to live in a place where the tap water is safe to drink, but tastes absolutely terrible, on it's own. I had my son install this for me and immediately it made my tap water taste like water is supposed to taste! It takes the terrible flavor out of it, completely! It took my son less than 30 minutes to install and it was no trouble at all. It has step-by-step instructions, but I feel it's one of those things where you could get by without reading the instructions, lol. This filter has been amazing value for the money, in my opinion! This Vortopt Q1under sink filtration system is a viable option for those who want filtered water from their faucet. The unit provides a compact option, but will take up space under the sink. If you need space under your sink, this is not the best option for you. The hook up is not very difficult and the instruction take you through the process to get hooked up. After install, I did not notice any water supply issues. The water did not appear "cleaner" in appearance than before the filter. Water taste was improved from before, but the tap water in my location is pretty bad to start off. I am concerned about the replacement of the filter. I expect it will cost a lot since I will most likely to have to go to Vortopt for the replacement. After checking other Vortopt filter options online, I would say the price is not bad, but they offer a much better unit for fraction more. The only difference is the size. If you need a compact, simple, and lower cost option for water filtration, the Vortopt Q1 is a viable option. While I would not necessarily recommend it, the unit does provide some improvement of water taste with a small footprint. Read more

I got this for my Airbnb because it's on well water and the water is absolutely awful it's full of sediment even has black stuff which is I think the water guy said manganese deposits. Anyway it just doesn't look good for guests and I needed something at least in the main water source that would make the water look and taste better. We already have an RO machine for drinking water but considering the sink water is also used for cooking I wanted to make sure that one was also clean and drinkable. I also didn't want to drop 10K on a whole home filtration system. This guy totally did the trick, super easy to install into your existing under sink plumbing and doesn't take up too much space at all. The water doesn't have any black stuff and there's also no chlorine smell. It is totally fine to drink and doesn't taste like metal. 10/10 Read more
