I picked this set up because I wanted to switch to a more eco-conscious body wash without sacrificing quality. I prefer bar soap, but I hate when it dries out my skin. Pros: Excellent hydrating ingredients (Jojoba, Cocoa Butter, Rice Protein). Lathers up surprisingly well for a natural soap. Packaging is FSC Certified (sustainable). Includes an exfoliating bag. Cons: The scent is fragrant; it's pleasant, but might be noticeable if you prefer unscented products. Ingredients The ingredient list is impressive, and here is why that matters: Jojoba Oil: This mimics your skin’s natural oils, so it moisturizes without clogging pores. Cocoa Butter: Provides deep hydration and helps form a protective barrier on the skin. Rice Protein: generally used to soothe and smooth the skin, leaving it feeling soft rather than stripped. Essential Oils: These provide the scent without using harsh synthetic fragrances. Sustainability & Value For roughly $14, you get two bars and an exfoliating bag. That is a reasonable ask for high-quality, plant-based soap. The packaging is FSC Certified, which just means the paper comes from responsibly managed forests—a nice touch for an eco-friendly product. Performance This isn't like the harsh detergent bars of the past. It lathers up nicely and feels very safe on the skin. The scent is "Forest Revive"—it is fragrant and distinct, but not overpowering. Comparison I found this to be significantly more hydrating than a typical Dove beauty bar, likely due to the high quality oils and butters. Verdict A great choice for the eco-conscious gentleman (or lady) who wants a premium wash without the plastic waste. Read more

I was impressed by this body soap. It has a nice smell though I can't place it. To me it doesn't exactly make me think of a forest - I would've liked a bit of piney/woody scent but it's still nice regardless. It lathers really well! I actually think it might not last as long as it should because of how much it lathers; I have to work on lathering it less. But I'm so happy that it lathers a lot because that's an important quality when it comes to a bar of soap. The exfoliating bag is the big game changer. This washed my skin so well! My skin felt soft and super clean after using it. My husband who usually isn't a big fan of a lot of my random skincare items was a big fan of this! He actually said "5/5 I really liked using that" so that's a big win! It has quality ingredients including jojoba oil which my skin loves. The bag can also hang on the hook I have in my shower so that it dries which is super useful. I would highly recommend this though it is a bit pricey, definitely worth it. Read more

I like this body wash bar set of soaps with their exfoliating bag. I think this is a cute set that could be used as a gift (if amazon doesn't crush everyone else's box in the mail). That said... the items in real life do not look like the product pictures. The soap is actually not actually a large white round disk, but rather, a pinkish circular soap with edges that round / taper. The product image where the user is holding the soap over their shoulder makes this soap look considerably larger than it is in real life. Since many people order things off pictures alone, and I feel the pictures are misleading, I remove a star there. As far as the actual soap goes, it's light pink, and it has a nice scent. The scent is called forest revive, which is said to be a blend of pink grapefruit, spearmint, sandalwood, and more. I personally can pick up the scent of grapefruit over everything else. I could smell these soaps even with them wrapped in paper, still in their box. Now for me, I actually like this, as I prefer my body washes / soaps to have a nice, strong smell, though I acknowledge that others may find this overpowering. The box states that the soap bars are 3.5 ounces. I got out my scale and weighed them -- one weighed 2.89 ounces and the other (already in the exfoliating bag, so, with some added weight) weighed right at 3.00 ounces. I feel like this is also false advertising. If someone is paying for 3.5 ounce soaps, they should receive 3.5 ounce soaps. Assuming both soaps are 2.89 ounces each instead of 3.5 ounces each, this is 17.5% less than what the customer is supposed to receive! The listing should reflect what is actually going to be sent out. The soaps do lather well, smell nice, and I like that the little bag is exfoliating and feels nice against my skin. It also hangs the soap up to dry and keeps it from staying a wet mess, and probably makes the bars last longer. That said, the price of this soap at $16.75 (at the time I write this) seems awfully high, especially knowing that the soap is pictured considerably larger than it actually is (and let's be honest, many people buy off pictures vs. actually reading), and further, even for the people who read the actual weight of the soap, the soap is STILL smaller than that. It feels a lot like false advertising, and at almost $9 per (small) bar of soap, it's just not a great deal. Read more
