I have tried about 5 other eye misters before trying this one. Don’t let yourself be fooled by all the other cutesy ones that seem to be more for looks than for functionality. A few of them stopped working within weeks of buying them. I have Sjogrens so my eyes are always so dry and itchy and feel as if they have sand inside. Thank goodness I found this eye nebulizer which has finally restored moisture to my eyes and with the added benefit of the heat, my eyes feel great again. It may have been a little more expensive than the others but worth every penny because honestly, I prefer functionality and relief before some cute cheap plastic device that stops working after only a few uses. This one was very easy to use, just add water or saline, (beware of gel based eye drops which will clog the mister) turn it on to either a steady stream or an intermittent mist, choose your heat level, place the cup up to your eye and 10 to 15 seconds later, voila, sweet relief. I have really dry eyes and some meds make it worse. Eye drops and gels weren't working for long, so in between I can now use this item to relieve the dryness. It's easy to use, doesn't leak and it's so portable I can take it wherever I go. I like that it heats the eye wash to make a warm mist and the battery has a long life. I especially like to use it right before I go to bed. Read more
This does give me a lot of relief for my dry eyes, so I do like it a lot but as others have mentioned, there is a lot of dripping going on. Make sure you keep a towel at the ready. I place a small hand towel just below the eye I’m treating to catch the drips. One thing that also helped alleviate that issue was to use pulse instead of the “always on” for the steam function. I also wish the controls weren’t so easily bumped off when using it. I keep turning either the steam or heat off by accident. Holding it from the top of the water tank helps that a little but. It worked great for a few days, but then it began leaking. Now it won't hold the liquid at all (it leaks all over the counter) and the steam no longer happens. Read more

Has been helpful for my dry eyes but I don't like that the power and the heat time out at different times. Also, it's hard to sense when they go off. Additionally, I have to keep wiping my eyes during the session because the eye cup fills up with so much water. And if I lean back too quickly, hot water splashes my eye. Read more

I actually think using hot towel compresses work better. I tried it several times, 6 to be exact, and found no comfort. I'm sure there are many who have great success with it, but unfortunately it did not help me. Read more
