This fits my 12-pound Pomeranian just right, her neck measures 11 inches and chest 17 inches. If she gets any bigger I will need to size up. Is it comfortable? She hates wearing collars and harnesses and walks away when I bring one of these out, but she seems to not to hate this one as much. And once it is on, she doesn't seem to mind it. There is no adjusting for size with this harness which I failed to observe when I bought it but it seems true to size. I like that there are two D rings over the clasp for the leash. If the clasp should fail and the Velcro fails, which I can't see happening, the leash clip will hold the harness on. The leash is very nice and is sturdy enough to hold a horse. I don't use it because the handle being so sturdy is too stiff to be able to loop the leash through to create a slip knot around my wrist, I'm not capable to keep a firm grasp on a leash for extended periods so am using a flimsier leash. Whenever I've used a harness or vest before, my dog, Timmy, always managed to get a leg under the chest strap so we were constantly having to adjust. The Voyager step in is great and Timmy hasn't been able to get a leg under the chest strap due to the snug fit. The construction of the vest seems solid and, while I was skeptical of the double d rings, they seem to work well. but can be a little noisy went connected to the lead. The vest is easy to fit using the velcro and stays in place once fitted even with the lead attached. The lead is okay, seems reasonably sturdy and has a reflective thread sewn in. My only issue would be the size of the clip on the lead, I would have expected a little wider area in the hook considering the double d ring attachment of the harness. Initially, I purchased a small for my 10 lb dog but it was too small so I returned and purchased the medium. I liked it well enough to purchase a second harness. Read more

I love this harness and my dog loves it as well, when I get it out he knows he’s going for a walk and tries to help put it on, trying to make his feet go through the holes. Because he knows it’s going to be fun but most importantly in terms of a review, it obviously fits him well and he has no adversions towards it. It fits him very comfortably and perfectly. This is a really nice harness, it’s easy to use and he steps right in and closes at the top. This is the best one I’ve come across. I think I got a small for my larger sized cat… I think he’s 14 lbs. He doesn’t walk, but I use it to secure him in my pet stroller… he did jump out once, but the harness and leash didn’t get him far at all. It seems comfortable and I like how it does not constrict or pull. I’d recommend. Read more

Runs a big. Dogs are usually a Small and Medium had to buy size down. If your dog is a little on the eeerrr uummm... "healthy" size this is a great fit for the fluctuating weight. My little girl loses and gains a pound on any given year so I wanted this because of the velcro strap. I can tighten or loosen as much as I want. Of course don't recommend really tight. But it is perfect because it doesn't irritate around her legs like other harness I have bought. And I love that it has little straps of reflectors. I have been trying to find one similar to the one my little boy had for his first few months of puppy-hood and did so much searching. This was the perfect one and much cheaper than the $25 dollar harness that I purchased at Petsmart that is still too big for her. Read more
