This is an interesting resistance strap. The looped design offers more versatility than a simple resistance strap. The seven loops provide multiple hand holds that allow you to easily use the strap at different lengths, you can also double-up the strap and do all of the things you can do with a conventional resistance strap. The strap appears to be well made, with premium fabric and tight stitching, the “medium” version I received is an unassuming dark grey color. Apparently, the straps are color-coded by weight, which makes it easy to tell them apart. The width of the web of the straps gets wider as the resistance increases, the “medium” weight strap is a bit under 1-1/2” wide by nearly 40” long. You can easily vary the amount of resistance by gripping loops closer together, and, as I mentioned, you can double the strap for even greater resistance, although with a shorter length. I can’t yet speak to durability, as the strap is new. If we experience any issues after extended use, I will update this review. As far as value; a huge variety of resistance straps are available, using countless different materials and styles, at a wide range of both quality and price points. Based on our experience, this is clearly a premium resistance strap, with a price to match. Of the literally thousands of straps out there, this strap design is unique. The multi-loop design, coupled with the premium materials, offers a variety of functionality other straps can’t match. If you are a workout pro or want a single strap that offers a lot of functionality, this is definitely worth a look. Bottom-line: An extremely versatile, premium resistance strap, perfect for yoga, workouts of PT. Read more
These straps are actually incredibly high quality! They're a little pricey but worth what you get. I got the medium strength ones and they've worked out well! The material is super comfortable for hands and feet and there's no fear of it slipping and smacking you, like with some cheaper bands! It's easy to use and stretches very well nonetheless and makes for great strength training. My only hangup is that I wish it came with some information on how you can best use the strap. You'll have to go digging around for ideas if you're unsure. I kind of improvised. Read more
This stretch band surprised me in a good way. The material feels tough and well made, like something that will last a long time without fraying or losing shape. I went with the Medium strength and it hits that sweet spot for light arm and leg workouts, especially when I don’t feel like grabbing weights. The stretchability matches the listed resistance, so you know exactly what you’re getting. What I like most is the versatility. The seven built in loops make it easy to switch up exercises without fighting the band or trying to get into weird positions. It works well for warmups, stretching, physical therapy style movements, and basic strength work. Super easy to use, and it doesn’t dig into the skin thanks to the soft mesh cloth they used. I kind of wish they offered a multi pack with all the resistance levels, but that’s more of a wish list, since I'm reviewing the product itself, the single band itself does exactly what it promises. Solid quality, durable, works well, and fits a bunch of different uses. I’d definitely recommend it for anyone who wants to mix flexibility and strength training into one simple tool. Read more
I actually took this on vacation! My friend started using it and now she is going to get one also. You can do so many exercises with this beyond just using it as a stretching band. You can actually hook it on to something and do bicep curls or chest press, you can use this to work out your hamstring. It is made with several loops which actually is an indication of how much resistance you're getting. I love things that look like they do one thing but actually have so many purposes Read more
This is an interesting tool for stretching. I got the heavy one (glad I did), and while I don't believe it has a full 65-100 lbs of resistance, it's strong enough to only have a slight give when I'm using it for various stretches. Since I've been using this band, my back has become more flexible and my middle split has improved - two areas I find difficult to stretch without assistance. The loops play a large part in this, as I can hook my feet through them and get the correct amount of tension from the strap. Unlike others have mentioned, I wouldn't use this as a resistance band. I just don't think the material is well suited for it. It's stretchy to a point, then no give after the fabric is fully extended unlike traditional resistance bands. It's best suited for holding stretches that are over what you're comfortable with without hurting your muscles. Read more
I’m really happy with these VRTX stretch straps. The seven loops make it easy to get the perfect stretch, whether I’m doing yoga, Pilates, or physical therapy exercises. They feel sturdy and comfortable to use, and they’ve really helped improve my flexibility. They also work for a variety of exercises since they have multiple loops and are easy to hold on to when stretching the band. Read more
Wow! I wasn't' sure what to expect when I ordered this resistance band, but it is very well designed. The loops give you an "all-in-one" resistance band. I've used lots of resistance bands in the past, some good, some not so good. Here's what I like about this one. As I already mentioned, the loops allow you choose your level of resistance without picking up a separate band. I love the cloth... it's more comfortable in your hand or around your foot than the plastic handles that are on most bands. The long length allows you to stand on it while extending your arm all the way over your head. The final advantage of this resistance band is how easily you can pack it. I used to travel for business and carry a bunch of bands with me... no more! ALL IN ONE! Read more
