Very well constructed piece. Materials seem to be good quality and very attractive design. Collects ashes just fine and can hold quite a good amount before needing to be emptied. I am very pleased with my purchase and would buy again! My only caveat is that the pre made holes probably won’t accommodate some potala sticks. Read more

The dish is fine but the hardware does not suspend the incense perfectly vertible and ashes fall outside the dish onto the table about half the time if you're not very careful. There are 3 metal parts, a base, a small disk and then a larger cylinder that sits on the top with multiple holes of various sizes but none really maintain the sticks perfectly verticle. Read more

Natural Marble Incense Holder, Incense Holder for Sticks and Backflow Incense We use this incense holder daily, and have yet to see overflow or ashes drop outside the bowl. The dual holder - that is, a large base with several stick holes and a smaller one, which I stick onto the incense before lighting, offer excellent stability for upright incense. Easiest just to say I bought three more of these after using the first one for several days, one for ourselves such that we have two, and one each for the boys, who are enjoying them as we speak. The 6" bowl is perfect for catching all stick incense ash. The included accessories serve all of my incense burning needs from Japanese incense sticks to Indian sticks and cones. I use the tall brass for Indian sticks, the lotus for my Japanese sticks. I do use a nail file to round out the bottom of a Japanese stick so it fits the small holes snugly and stands straight with minimal waste. I use the small brass piece for cones. The outside of the bowl is polished nicely. The inside is a little rough, but of no consequence. It's simple yet elegant enough to leave out even when not burning incense. Read more
