I don't know why I was even considering this item.... I already have 3 other vibration platforms AND this was triple the price of my others. This thing is HUGE and makes my others look and feel like toys, really. To start, this is an oscillating platform. That is like a see-saw, right side is up while the left is down. The further you spread your legs apart on this, the tougher the workout is. Because this is SO much wider than my other platforms, I immediately felt the difference. I initially thought that maybe the black part where you place your feet was the same size compared to my others, it is NOT. You have to start slow with these and not the full time either. Go slow. If this vibrates you too much in your head, you should bend your knees. After using this, I feel 'light' when walking, kind of floating really. It does get your heart rate going and does vibrate MUCH more than my others. I have not decided if that is good or bad just yet, or even if it matters. This comes with a Roku-styled remote where everything is clearly labeled (even comes with the batteries.) The resistance bands, a poster showing the various exercises you can do, a CD and manual is all included. Also, this can be paired with a BT speaker. I am not doing that as I already have Alexa in every room. This comes with the 3 pronged power cord, but make sure you have your own extension cord! For the price of this, they should have given you a 10ft cord! There is an on/off switch next to the power cord on the side of the platform. I often see people ask about losing weight with these. I don't have an answer on that yet, but I will be using this daily so I will update this again in about a month. I wouldn't mind losing a few before Spring/Summer rolls around. Amazon is slow to add pics, but after this is published, I will post a side by side pic of my $130 platform so you can see the difference and I will add any other thoughts on this after using it for a month. updates coming. I was very intrigued by the concept of a machine that would vibrate the body so as to stimulate the lymphatic system and what have you, without having to do much beyond standing in one position. I had seen something similar in the gym and figured I would give this a shot. As a fitness instructor, it was especially intriguing to know if a machine like this could really do all it is claiming in one 10 minute fell swoop. The machine is substantial, much heavier than expected. It is easy to set up and power on, although the power cord is super short. I would have appreciated a longer cord for sure. I paired it with blue tooth, but kind of regret doing so because the machine's voice is super annoying and strange. I realize I could just play music from my phone so there was no point in trying to get the music to come through the vibration plate. I put the included "positions" poster in front of me when using this, but wish there had been more clarification about what the various levels mean, either on the machine or at least on the poster. There is a brief description of it in the included manual, but I still find it a bit confusing, whether P1, P2 or what have you is best for me. I did a lot of research online to try to understand this machine better because although the instruction manual does explain it to some degree, I guess I want to understand it at a deeper level. I actually decided to inquire about it at my gym to hear what they had to say and to compare a very high-end gym's vibration plate with this one. The gym's vibration plate was substantially bigger than the home version and has upright handle bars. I asked the trainer his objective opinion of the machine and he said that he might use it for ten minutes max before a workout just to loosen things up, but he didn't seem to think that it was actually a workout in itself. I have to admit, it does feel great to have all of this vibration going through your entire body--it's almost like having a full body massage gun happening all at once...you know, instead of blasting one spot with the device, you are getting that kind of intensity all over. I had read somewhere not to wear shoes while on a vibration plate, but in the manual, the model has shoes on so I guess that is the way to do it? It is definitely a better workout the wider apart your feet are...the first time I tried it, I didn't know that and it didn't do much. As soon as I assumed a wider stance and got into a good squatting position, I really started to feel the burn. My biggest issue/concern is that when I try to do some of the suggested basic positions, my neck starts shaking WAY too much. I have a slightly bulging disc in my neck so it just doesn't feel like it could be smart to have it jostling around so intensively. If I hold a squat position, I can control my neck, but as soon as I stand up straight or start moving around, I feel too concerned about my neck. I almost feel like I should wear a little neck brace when doing this just to be safe! They included a DVD with this order, but that seems like a bit of an antiquated technology. I don't have a way to watch it and wish they provided a thorough tutorial on their website, but I didn't see one. Even though I got this vibration plate seemingly for no cost, I will in fact be paying almost two hundred dollars in income tax on it so I do have some skin in this game. All in all, I do like this concept of shaking up the lymphatic system and what have you and it is fairly fun to use, but for the current selling price of over six hundred dollars, I think it is too expensive. I will absolutely continue using it, but with caution in protecting my neck and my brain--it definitely doesn't seem like a great idea to let either of those two body parts get too rattled. If I see a miraculous change in my body, my health, anything after using it daily for a month, I promise to update this review. Read more
The media could not be loaded. This exercise plank really works. I thought at first why would it vibrate, but it is definitely contracting every muscle that you're trying to work. Just by standing on it alone for at least a good five minutes and letting it vibrate. I was tired and couldn't understand why, like I just worked out. This is a very good exercise tool. And you can do so many exercises on this. My husband was really skeptical and he used it himself and couldn't believe the results he felt. I can honestly say when I did it, I felt my back in the morning felt much better. This goes all the way up to 20. I was able to do a number 4. I will continue to use this. And start squatting and doing much more. It's expensive I have seen machines much higher than this one that do the same thing. But this is a good buy. . But if you're really excited about getting your help on track, this machine is it. Read more
I didn’t know what to expect and I was hopeful when I ordered it. I’m not a bit disappointed. Please read the instructions and recommendations. By the way, my wife and I are elderly. I’ve had this product for a little over a week, my wife and I use it. As recommended, we use it twice a day, 10 minutes each session. I started with program 1, sitting down on a chairs edge putting my weight with my arms on my upper legs. The progressive program is nice and easy, although for some the high vibration may be a bit to much for some. Even though towards the end of the 10 min session the machine vibrates to a low setting, it still is a bit of a shock to the system and made my head spin just lightly, more so for my wife. This made my wife feel uncomfortable. This machine is made rugged and should last a long time. I noticed by the end of the first day a small bit of soreness in my legs, as time progressed, the soreness went away and I felt I had more strength in my legs. The machine as advertised by the vendor. Read more
