Long lasting, perfect for layering under clothes. My son even wears them under his soccer uniform on cold practice nights. Our cold is usually in the 30 degrees maybe the coldest would be high 20s so I can not account for windy or cooler temps. It has stretch to it and is not tight or form fitting to the body, It is a tad loose from the body if you purchase your normal size so would not be ideal for layers under tight fitted garments like skinny jeans. This is exactly what I was looking for. Everything in the store that I was finding was thin and didn't seem like it would keep my kid warm. He attends and outdoor school on the PNW so we get ALL seasons and cold cold winters and they are outside ALL the time. He uses these under his clothes and he says he stays nice and toasty. Great price for three sets! The size and fit was perfect. He's a bigger 5 year old the length is slightly long which is ok cause he will grown and it won't he and issue.
