I drive a route, so I stay close to my truck and keep this plugged in most of the time. I love it. When it’s unplugged, it doesn’t hold heat as long as an insulated mug, but that’s not an issue for me. Most of my night is spent driving. When I step away, it’s usually for about an hour. It still stays hot enough, and once I’m back in the truck, it heats right back up to piping hot. If the cup gets low, I just add more and it heats that up too. Works great for how I use it. Read more
Keeps beverages nice and hot. When the vehicle starts back up, it doesn’t take long for it to heat back up. On longer excursions I will probably have to unplug it to let it cool down as it will get pretty hot to sip immediately. Excellent for sipping broths while traveling as well. I’m looking forward to using it on road trips. In regards to getting the charger port wet, I just put on rubber gloves and held that area while gently washing the mug. Read more
This handly little item is great for people who like to space out drinking their hot beverages instead of trying to drink them in a short period of time. It can be used at home and on the go though it will cost more to use it at home. The item uses a cigarette-lighter, male plug to channel power, from an auto cigarette lighter, to the mug. It requires at least 90W of DC power (not the 20W stated in the ad) which most USB systems can't provide plus a cable that can handle 90W. I tried a number of USB hubs and cables before giving up and buying a 180W AC to DC Converter with the required, female cigarette-lighter port. If you buy a converter, it needs to be at least 90W. The coverter cost almost as much as the mug but it is still only half the price of other, quality beverage warmers for the home. While cheap ones are available, I haven't found any satisfactory. The problem with most mug warmers is the beverage, such as coffee or tea, oxidizes from exposure to the air in an open mug. The benefits, of the drink, fade fairly quickly when expose to air. This mug can be closed, when not being used, so that the drink doesn't oxidize as quickly. It also keeps the drink uniformly hot. I have a pretty sensitive mouth, but I find I can comfortably drink the contents until they are gone. That might not be the case if the preheated beverage is hotter than usual so be careful not to add anything that would burn the mouth. I have only one gripe, about the mug, and that is the size of the lip hole. It appears to be designed for a fairly large mouth so anyone, with a small mouth, will have to be careful when drinking or hot liquid might run out from the sides of the hole. I had this happen several times. I'm going to see if I can't find a way to reduce the size of the hole for my small mouth. Other than that, it is a very useful mug, with a quality build, and it holds 16oz of liquid which I find lasts me about 4 hours before needing to be refilled. With care, it should last a long time. Just be sure to read the requirements for care before washing it. Read more

Dont waste your money, used it normally in my truck with no complications and after 2 weeks, just stopped warming up. Normal flask with no good insulation, much better products out there! Very disappointed!!! Read more

The item works but I guess you could say it works too well there's no way to regulate the heat so you end up getting an extremely hot mouthful of coffee. I found myself plugging and unplugging it all day long as I was trying to use it because it would get too hot so I am sending it back to get a different one that you can regulate the heat temperature. Let me just say I am extremely Happy!!!!😄 I had the ember mug and it was ok for the price I paid to keep having malfunctions and constant disconnection problems. It's junk now what a waste of money!!. And it doesn't heat up to 150° like this travel mug!!. It's not too hot but still hot enough. Perfect for winter time at a fraction cost better than those expensive ones. Let's hope it'll last long enough. 🤞 Read more
