If you happen to live in the Midwest (Iowa/Nebraska) and are trying to attract Cardinals, grosbeak and goldfinch, this stuff is great. Only negative things would be that it also attracts woodpeckers (not what we want around) and the sack rips unbelievably easy. I picked up Wagner’s Farmer’s Delight Wild Bird Food with Cherry Flavor (10-lb bag) thinking I’d attract a couple of polite birds. Instead, I accidentally opened a 24-hour buffet. Cardinals, sparrows, doves, and a suspiciously confident squirrel all showed up like they had reservations. The mix includes seeds like millet, milo, cracked corn, and sunflower, which apparently is the bird equivalent of pizza and wings. Recommendation: If you want to attract birds, this works great.
