I would consider this an indoor sleeping bag, or maybe ok for outdoors in nice weather. It does not seem thermal enough for true outdoor camping in cool weather. The materials are as expected at this price point (currently under $30) and the workmanship is acceptable. It has a double zipper, but both ends are regular zippers like a purse or suitcase zipper, not like a jacket zipper where you insert one side into the tab. The hood is nice, as is the convenient carrying and storage bag that it coes with. The design is cute and suitable for a wide range of ages. Fun for overnights, slumber parties, etc. Read more

This is totally adorable! I love that there is a hood with a drawstring. What a genius idea!! I got this for my sweet grandson who absolutely adores anything galaxy-related. I love that it has a little hood area for our grandson, and the materials seem to be of high quality. He's absolutely going to love the space theme. The sleeping bag is pretty lightweight but retains the heat really well. The size is small but it does fit my younger kids. I would say it would be great for kids from 4 to 8 depending on their size. The despite being really lightweight sleeping bag has some cushion and padding. It is easy to take out and put away. Read more

WHATS INCLUDED: 1 kids sleeping bag and carrying bag/backpack PRODUCT/THOUGHTS: This sleeping bag is lightweight, but the material is thick and feels waterproof. The design and colors are really nice. The zipper goes all the wall across the foot area and up one side, making it easy to get in and out. There's a velcro tab at the top of the zipper to place over. This is great if your kid moves around a lot in their sleep and can prevent them from accidentally opening the zipper while sleeping. The head area which is attached, is kinda like a jacket hoodie and is the same padded & soft material as the blanket part. This covers the whole head and there are drawstrings at each side. It does come with a carrying bag/backpack with the same printed material, but no padding. The backpack bag is extremely small and made with very thin material and straps. It was a little bit of a nightmare trying to keep the sleeping bag rolled up as tight as possible and stuffing it into a small and thin material bag. It did eventually fit into the bag. It would have been great if the sleeping bag had velcro or a cord to help hold it in place when rolled up, making the carrying bag a little bigger, with thicker material and straps.
