I was so excited because I finally found a little shelf that would fit on a very small section of wall above my stove backsplash. But sadly, the included mounting tape that you you to hang the shelf didn't quite fit the square holes on the back. It was about 1/10th off. So, I tried cutting the mounting adhesive strip in half to line up the hooks with the shelf separately. (1) Don't do that. The adhesive is super sticky and will gunk up your scissor blades and (2) it doesn't work the way I planned. I even tried taping the two strips together. After it was all said and done, the adhesive didn't even stick to my wall, which is painted beadboard. The shelf itself is awesome, but there is no alternative holes in the back to hang it using screws or nails unless you drill through the metal. I might try this, but it would be nice if it worked out of the box without drilling through the finish. Sorry it didn't work out. Read more

Not bad for around $13. I got this shelf to go above my kitchen sink. I live in an apartment with brand new cabinets and I didn't want anything that required drilling or nails, so this fit the bill. It's sturdy, but lightweight enough to hold items securely. Read more
