I was a little concerned that the lag screws were only 2 in long but I used three of them, two on the top and one on the bottom and it seems very sturdy. I used an 11/64 bit for the pilot hole. The bolts are stainless which is nice and a sign they are good quality (I could not find any kind of grade marking on them). I like the simple but sturdy look of this bar. There are not a bunch of fancy hands positions, but that is ok for me since I mainly got it to hang from to stretch and maybe work up to some pull-ups. Read more

I got this for our home setup and installation was straightforward. It took just a few minutes with basic tools, and it fit our doorway without any problems. Once mounted, it feels solid and doesn’t wobble when I’m hanging from it. I’m around 135 lbs, and it has handled my weight without any issues. The bar itself is a simple straight design, which I like. One thing to know is that the bar is smooth, so if your hands get sweaty you may want chalk or tape for extra grip. Primarily ordered this for stretching and exercise but this bar is top quality in my opinion. It comes with all the installation hardware you need and is a heavy duty piece of equipment. The pull up bar is comfortable to use and eat to grip when using it. A great deal for the price, this is an incredibly useful piece of work out equipment that is well made and will last for several years. We installed this in the office/den and I use this while working to stretch and keep moving throughout the day. It does come with the assistance bands as well but I have not use them so no comments on them. I am so glad we ordered this Purife heavy duty pull up bar, it is flipping awesome! After installing this in my garage gym, I’ve been impressed with how solid it feels. The fully welded steel frame and thick mounting plates give it a lot of confidence-inspiring sturdiness — once it’s anchored properly, it doesn’t budge. I mounted it directly into wood studs spaced 36” apart, which lined up perfectly with the slotted mounting holes. All the hardware was included, and the instructions were decent, though I’d still recommend a level and a socket set to make it easier. The pull-up bar diameter is comfortable (not too thin, not too thick), and the powder coating gives just enough texture to avoid slipping, even during sweaty sets. I’ve done a mix of pull-ups, leg raises, and band-assisted reps, and it’s held up well under everything. No flex or creaking. I really like the inclusion of the resistance band and carabiner loops — smart additions that let you expand into assisted movements or hang other gear like rings or straps. It’s a good setup for progressing your pull-up strength or mixing up your training without buying extra rigging. Minor downside: you’ll want to measure carefully and pre-mark holes, especially if you're mounting on drywall studs. The bar itself is heavy, so solo installation can be a little awkward unless you're used to this kind of thing. Purife wall mounted Heavy Duty Pull Up Bar comes with everything you need to install in multiple wall types. The screws and bolts are good quality as well as the pull up bar. The bars texture makes for a good comfortable grip. Perfect bar thickness for all hands big and small. Instructions were easy to understand and I was able to get this up on my own. The bar is not heavy itself, just heavy duty. Overall this feels secure and holds up well during use. The included loop band is a different experience, but makes for better workouts.
