We decided to replace one of the lights on the wall with a nicer looking more aesthetically, pleasing scone light. This one was well priced and fit the bill nicely. It’s super easy to install. Good value for its money and the perfect size for the corner in our living room. Everything is made of light weight metal and the light cover is made of glass not cheap plastic. We have a plant under ours so we put a grow light in it and it works perfectly well for what we wanted. We like the look so much we’re going to purchase a second one and put it on the other side where we don’t currently have a light so that we have matching lights in the living room. I’m no electrician, but installation was super easy. I just turned the light switch off, unhooked the old one and replaced it with a new one. This was easy for my husband to install after I broke the glass globe of the existing lamp in the stairwell of our rented home--Oops! When I saw how expensive replacement globes are (and you have to get the lip and inner diameter just right or it won't fit properly), I realized it would be easier and cheaper to replace the whole thing. Now that it's up and working, I'm confident that was the smart move. It's actually brighter and nicer looking than the one it replaced, and was a bargain to boot. Read more

This light looks really nice in my hallway. It is nice and bright. Reason for 4 stars is the instructions. There are step by step instructions but steps are missing. There is a gold O ring that we had no idea where it was supposed to go. There are no instructions on this. When you put in the bolts (no good instructions on this either), the light was never tightly secured to the base. We tried every way possible and never got it secured tightly. I hope no one ever bumps into it and makes it spin. Other than that it looks nice. Read more
