This is a fantastic product that helps in covering switches that SHOULD NOT be touched. The installation was SUPER simple and I didnt even need the screws that came with the product, as I was able to reuse the screws already in place on the wall plate. I really like that it has a clicking sound to tell you that the plate is secured. Should work great for child proofing but also for handling switches that should not be touched (some homes have weird designs where they add switches for unnecessary things). Read more

Recently replaced two outdoor lights with Ring floodlight cameras, and since they need continuous power, I needed a way to keep the switches on. This way my kids, and anyone else don't accidentally turn power off to the camera. Does have a tab for access, if you need access to the switch, but is not easy to do on accident.
