I received the Minimalist wallet card holder and gave it a good examination before trying it out. I am in agreement it is minimal (small). I included a photo it is not much bigger than a playing card. It has a nice carbon fiber appearance. I put 6 credit cards in the holder (they advertise 1-7) and slid the eject lever. It did push them out the top with a little difficulty. (See photo) Using only 4 cards was much easier on the trigger dispenser. I used this for a day in and out of my jean back pocket. Sitting on it just like I would a normal wallet while driving. The card holder by end of day one had started to come loose from the adhesive strip holding it to the wallet. (See photo) You can press it back together, but I can guess as the adhesive collects lint/dirt from your pocket from being exposed that it will not stick for long. Looking inside the card holder at the trigger lever that dispenses the cards it is a small plastic piece (See photo) that under the stress of 7 cards I am questioning the durability. My test was with only 6 cards. For me it is not the wallet. If you carry your wallet in your vest or suit jacket, somewhere other than your jean back pocket this might work for you. But as a back pocket wallet I don't think it can handle the wear and tear. Read more

My first impression is this wallet is good looking and modern. It did appear to be as thick as my classic wallet even when it was empty but it’s because of the built in ridged metal box card holder. It has a sliding release lever on the side to push your cards out. I was able to move all my cards and drivers license into this modern wallet (8 cards, 1 drivers license, and cash). Didn’t move my photographs but in this age of digital photos, I can still have that on my smartphone. Pros: RFID protection, ability to access all cards without even opening the wallet, still have a window slot for picture ID, a fold to hold cash, and magnetic closure to keep wallet closed while still being easily accessible. Cons: concerns if that slide lever breaks thus making it difficult to retrieve any card. Not necessarily thinner if you only carry a few cards because of the fixed size of the metal box built into the wallet. Overall I feel more organized and safer knowing my cards cannot be read with RF readers. I recommend it unless you carry less than 4 cards because I think there are other options that are thinner with RFID protection. Also, might not fit more than 10 cards well so if that’s the case, this wallet may not work for you. Read more
