Great product

The Ware Manufacturing Peck N Play Chicken Ball Toy is an absolute delight for both my chickens and me! From the moment I introduced it into their coop, it became an instant source of entertainment and exercise for my feathered friends. This ingenious toy keeps my chickens engaged and active as they peck at it, trying to get the treats inside. Not only does it provide mental stimulation, but it also promotes their physical well-being. It's constructed with durable materials, ensuring it withstands the pecking and playful antics of my chickens. I appreciate the thoughtful design that allows me to easily refill the ball with treats, making it a long-lasting investment. The best part is that it's a unique addition to their environment, setting it apart from the standard chicken toys. My chickens absolutely love it, and their happiness brings me joy. I highly recommend the Ware Manufacturing Peck N Play Chicken Ball Toy to any chicken owner looking to keep their flock happy and healthy with a fun and engaging toy. Read more

Dumb design

This is practically useless. You can't open it, so you have to squeeze food through the holes, and most of that falls out immediately. Might be a good cat toy, but has zero value for chickens. Read more

Great cat toy but not for poultry.

Great cat toy but because there are 6 very tiny screws to open to fill it's not practical for chickens/ducks. Read more

Fun idea for those with 10 or more chickens!

My chickens were actually scared of this. I found that the ball was a whole lot bigger than I was imagining it would be. It took a lot of food to stuff it full! If I had a lot of chickens, instead of just 3, then this may have been a better idea. I was disappointed that the 2 halves of the ball didn't come apart for easy cleaning or filling. That would have been nice. Read more

Excellent for ducklings, great for holding smaller size treats!!

Bought this for my ducklings. Loved that I could put smaller size pieces of lettuce and veggies in it. They roll it around pecking the treats out, definitely slows down how quickly they gobble everything up! After they finish eating all the treats they still enjoy rolling it around playing with it. It is more difficult to fill than the bigger "head" shaped treat ball that's made of wire but that treat ball is fairly usess. Not sure how it would hold anything other than cabbage or iceburg lettuce...and no one should be feeding iceburg lettuce to anything. I wash any toys I give my ducklings first just to be sure I don't introduce any new germs so I didn't even think to check how clean it was first. Not sure why that would be an issue. I'm hoping Amazon gets these back in stock. Totally worth $4, not $11+. Read more

Too difficult to use

I thought it was a good idea but there it lays in the storage box. It is too hard to use. You have to take screws out before you can put anything in it and the chickens really didn't seem to like it at all no matter what we put in it. Read more

Chicken Toy - Treat Ball

This is not a must have. But, my hens and rooster stay occupied for a while when I put spinach or any kind of greens or treat in this ball. At first, they were scared of it - but now they basically peck it when I fill it until everything is gone and it really keeps them occupied for a bit. It is nice to use when you are trying to have your chickens occupied while you are busy in the coop. Read more

This thing is dumb

It’s a solid ball. There’s no way to open and close it. So you are limited to stuffing food inside. Scratch doesn’t stay in at all. And ultimately the slits are so thin unless the ball is stuffed the chickens don’t really get a ton of access to it and lose interest quickly.I understand you have to train chickens to light things. I really worked with them on this one, and they don’t care. The whole thing is more trouble than it’s worth Read more
