The WareLight Oslo Compact Linear High Bay Fixture is seriously impressive. From the moment it was installed, the light output and overall quality stood out immediately. What really makes this fixture special is how expandable and future‑proof it is. You can add optional modules from the manufacturer that simply screw in and unlock features like Bluetooth control, motion sensing, and additional smart functionality. The fact that these upgrades are modular makes it incredibly flexible depending on how your space or needs change over time. The fixture itself feels solid and well‑built, and the design is clean and modern. It delivers excellent illumination and works great right out of the box, even before adding any upgrades. If you like having options and the ability to enhance your setup later without replacing the entire fixture, this is a fantastic choice. Pros: Excellent light output High‑quality build Modular upgrade options available Smart features via optional add‑on modules Great long‑term flexibility Cons: Upgrade modules are optional add‑ons Overall, this is an awesome high bay fixture with a lot of potential, especially if you plan to take advantage of the available upgrades. This linear, compact, high bay light fixture by WareLight is a really nice, commercial quality fixture producing 110,000 lumins for only 78 watts, It is great that you can change the color trmperature. ALL light fixtures should offer that feature because everyone's tastes are different. I personally prefer 5000K or higher for my lighting scenerios, but it is easily adjusted to a warmer color by changing a slid switch located at the toip of the fixture. It is very compact and can be mounted in a variety of ways. It is a winner and I recommend it! This is a bright light that works great with a 0-10v dimmer (you supply your own dimmer). I really like that it dims all the way down to 0 and then clicks to OFF. A lot of high bay lights don't turn on until the dimmer is at 20 to 60%. But this one turns on immediately at 1 to 2% and smoothly brightens all the way up to 100%. It has a switch to select either 4k or 5k color temperature and includes hanging brackets. It is lightweight and easy to hang using the brackets. This light does not include a power cord, you must hardwire it. Wiring it is pretty straight forward with standard green, white, and black wires. If you want to use a dimmer, there are 2 additional wires which have the standard pink and purple coloring. The dimming function is not designed for the standard dimmers you typically find at the big box stores. I used a 0-10v dimmer purchased online for about $6. After 15 minutes at 100% brightness I checked the temperature with an infrared thermometer and the hottest place on the housing was about 118F with a room the temperature at 68F. That's not too bad, a lot of LED lights get much hotter. The light is marked with a UL listing on the housing which lets me know it has passed UL safety standards. Read more
I acquired this lamp to help illuminate a section of our small garage/shop. Low ceiling (7') and I really like the dimensions of this lamp for the location. At 7', it functions more like a "area spread spotlight" - it'll serve our purpose well, but it turns out other garage lights better illuminate a low ceiling. HOWEVER, we tested the lamp by placing it horizontally at one end of the narrow, long shop (35'). Wow! It illuminated everything! I definitely wish I would have known of this lighting option when helping out a family member who has a high-ceiling garage (beams about 12' above floor), a few of these units would have ultimately been less expensive than the option we chose. I also like the option to shift color temperature. The warm temp is a welcoming glow, but I'll stick with daylight spectrum for shop work. Build quality, price-point (~$79 time of writing) and illumination - 5/5, excellent lighting option. Read more
Easy to install and get wired in and extremely bright. I installed this above my workbench in my shop and now there's nothing I don't see. Read more
This WareLight Oslo Compact Linear High Bay Fixture is extra bright especially for it's smaller size. It does get a bit warm, but not too hot. It has no fans or moving parts to fail. However over time the internal electrical parts that supply the power may fail due to heat build up and time. That is common of all lights like this, the led's last longer than the power supply. It has a dimming feature that I haven't fooled around with yet, but I hope to one day. I wish it would have included the dimmer, which I haven't tried to locate yet. So one star off for that. It's not an expensive part, why not just include it.? It's nice that you can select the rendering color too, I like the 5000k most myself. It is light and easy to hang. These work great in metal buildings for lighting. Read more
My dad's garage had those long white light fixtures with the glass light bulbs that would flicker when the bulb was about to blow. I ordered this light because it kind of reminded me of my dad's shop. However this light has three color temperatures that you can choose from and the light is very bright. You do have to hardwire this light to a switch. Read more
I just hung this in my shop, up at the ceiling above five other 5000K strip lights. Set to 5000K it matched the color temperature and significantly brightened the whole shop. It even cast some shadows, but the strip lights take care of that at all the workstations. Very happy with this fixture. Read more
