Direct bolt on for my old 8274. No installation instructions. But if you're replacing your old pack, it's obvious where the cables go. There is an additional small ground wire that needs to be hooked up. I ran it to the motor ground screw. Read more

Nice package, but it comes up short in a few departments; first the cables and lugs do not have boots like the originals. I will have to find some. The originals are weather cracked so will need new. It would be a nice touch to include them. (The option to get new clamps would be great too!) The next problem is the biggy. The cables are too long!! By alot. The "A" terminal is nearly unusable as it comes, but I don't have any way to crimp a new lug that large on so I weaseled it on there. The lug/cable will only fit in a way that makes the cable bend out of the lug harshly. Looks horrible and won't last. The F1 and F2 cables are also too long, but they are long enough to be looped out and around so the cable doesn't have to exit the lug harshly. Functions as it should, but really seems wrong for a replacement part on something that has been produced for so long. I am now wishing I has used the Albright style pack. (I ordered this thinking it was Warn's version of the Albright, but it is not). Read more
