Worked like a charm. Thank you!

I had my 20 year old Cartier watch serviced and repaired 12 years after I purchased it new. They fixed everything, replaced seals, and fixed a broken clasp. This 10 yr maintenance is $500, but mine had other issues so it was $1000. When my watch began gaining 1, 2, 3, and then 4 minutes everyday, I just wound my pricy watch back every other day and thought, this really stinks but the watch is relatively functional and it’s not a good time to spend money. And then I read about watches becoming magnetized. I tested mine on a 40 year old army compass and it moved the needle. I was going to buy this machine regardless because I figured it was worth a shot. I accessed my bezel and pulled it out to pause movement. I did not let it discharge. I performed the demagnetization procedure a single time, set my watch, and waited to see. That was 4 days ago and my time is dead on accurate now. This little machine saved me so much money and made me so very satisfied. In trying to figure out what was causing this, I discovered that the front corners of my work laptop, where I rest my wrists to type were magnetic. Bingo All that said, it is worth buying one of these to try. If your watch is magnetized and the machine works, you might be as elated as I Read more

Works Like a Charm

My watch got magnetized and was ticking fast. I was an hour ahead per day, so it was pretty bad. I needed this device to demagnetize my watch. Worked like a charm. Note: sometimes you need to demagnetize the watch multiple times if it doesn’t work the first time. I needed to do it three times to fully recalibrate my watch. Read more

Demagnetized My Watch, But Use Caution

pjcDecember 8, 2025✓ Verified purchase

This item did demagnetize my watch. Didn't stay that way very long, but I think it's a watch situation. Leaving review because there is one downside. I mistakingly left this pugged in, and it somehow was flipped over so the red button was pushed in by the carpet. It was a very random thing, but it stayed that way overnight and got really how for a very long time. I could smell melting plastic when i walked in to the room. So beware of that. It was a freak thing, and 100% user error, but could have been really bad! Read more
