Oh man. This gadget is PERFECT. My water dispenser was constantly getting flake in it so I just bought this because it’s obviously cost effective but let me tell you. It works phenomenal. It dispenses the water very quickly and has great pressure. One thing to note is that it doesn’t screw on it just sits on top of the water jug. This 5 gallon water jug pump is AWESOME! It’s supercharged. You push the button and it sends out two strong streams of water. It fills a water pitcher fast which I then put the water into an ice machine. My old water jug pump was so slow and the cport battery charge unit died in under 5 months. This item has two pictures. The black and gold or blue one is amazing. The white one with that whimpy gray neck dispenser is too slow and needs the on button pressed twice to fill a water pitcher. But the blue and the black one shoots an incredibly strong streams and it doesn’t stop until you press the on/off button again. I’m not paid for this review. Reasonably priced item -- $8. Great functionality and durability. Absolutely love the one size fits ALL (just plop on top)!!!! Hose is flexible and lengthy so no tilting for bottom water. One touch press on and press off for water means you don't have to adjust for cup size and it comes out fast like a faucet. Didn’t need to charge it upon first use and it’s really easy to set up. It fits the big 5 gallon water bottle perfectly. No water leakage and it spouts water strongly—perfect for filling up my liter bottle. It does emit a turbine-like sound when in use, but it’s no different from the sound of a small chopper or other small machines used in the kitchen. I’m super pleased with this! Read more

The pump does flow smoothly so just be ready and paying attention when it’s coming out of your cooler. The noise level seems standard to me. It’s functional and very durable for the job it does.
