I was a little leery buying one of these. There are many brands of this tool that look exactly alike. I’m happy with the purchase. This worked, paradoxically. I had low expectations. There was a ding on the casing at the base, no big deal. There are ZERO instructions. First I tried full pressure with no watch. Then I tried a Vostok before dropping in an Ω SMP or R Sub. Device worked fine. I'm extra careful building up pressure (multiple tests at 0.5 atm intervals in case a watch fails) and also depressurizing (I use the thumb screw and loosen until I barely hear a hiss, then walk away -- it takes minutes). Drawbacks: No directions. Indifferent finish quality. Shaft and cylinder are too short and too narrow. You can fit a SMP or Sub but have to rubber band them or their band and bulk drop them into the water whereas you want them above until you lower them. Panerai owners have fun removing the strap entirely. Integrated band? You may be screwed, literally. Surprisingly, pressure gauge is actually decent. If you have an Aqualand (and everyone should!) try it. Don't expect anything except a functional tester, accept the size and practicality issues, and it's a decent proposal for the money. Read more

The product out of the box didn’t work. Zero pressure build up. While debating whether to investigate how I return the item I thought I might take it apart and see if I could figure out what might be wrong. So, I removed the cover and found that the pin that connects the pump handle to the pump had fallen out. It was a totally loose fit. I found the pin and opened it up so the fit was tight and pushed it back in. Now it’s working just fine. Three stars because I shouldn’t have to fix my shoulder have been working item. Read more

Arrived with a loose part in the bag and the handle did not work, it was loose. Also the bottom plate of the machine was oxidized. Otherwise it lloked good. Read more
