So, this is viral on tiktok and I went ahead and got the 5 in 1 because I thought “okay, i’ve wanted something for my hair with multiple uses like this for a while so i might as well”. It came in today, and i’m kind of disappointed. Pros: 1) It does what it needs to in regards to curling, creating a blowout type of look, etc. However, it’ll definitely take some practice for me to get good at it and be able do my entire head in a short time. 2) It heats up super quick and stay hot. 3) Gets the job done well enough considering the price. Technically getting 5 heat tools for $54 isn’t bad at all. Plus the little clips, glove, and satin? scrunchies, it’s a decent deal. Cons: 1) I yanked a fair amount of hair out of my head because it would get caught in the spot where the head and wand connect. like i’d be in the middle of just spinning the heated brush to create a swoop at the ends of my hair and it would snatch out 3-5 pieces of hair because it kept getting caught in that little crevice. I’m not sure what they could do to improve that, but it’s just how it is I guess. 2) With the one that I ordered, some of the attachments came with a stand thing to keep the hot iron from touching your countertop. However, that part gets SO hot. I burnt my finger a little bit when I first tried it because I obviously didn’t expect the stand to get hotter than the iron itself. 3) The black plastic part at the top of the iron that you’re supposed be able to grab gets pretty hot as well. 4) This isn’t that serious but it takes a pretty long time to cool off once you turn it off too. 5) Since there are only two heat settings, you just have to be careful. I knew that when I bought it but I expected there to be more of a difference in the heat settings since there are only the two. I wish I could set it to be a little bit cooler since both settings are super hot in my opinion. However, I have fine hair so I don’t need it to be super hot to get a nice curl.
