I got one of these drives to put in a desktop Windows system that runs 24/7. Installed it in March 2016. Replaced it as preventive maintenance in February 2024. In that time I think it probably spent less than 2 weeks turned off at various times. Never had a problem. Quiet. Reliable. Long service life. It was considerably quieter than the WD Black drive that replaced it. (But the Black drive was half the price too.) Read more
It was so easy to install in my MacPro. Just open it and plug it in. My Mac detected it instantly and I have now a lot more space for my files. Performance is superb. Read more
I use these in consumer grade desktop computers, they will out live the computer, are quiet, and as fast as Black Drives with much less noise. Read more
