The outstanding Garmin Tactix 7
I purchased this watch because I have been spending more time doing outdoor activities and wanted a back up for safety the gps, compass and the additional multitude of features this watch provides. Initially I was going to only use it when I was doing outdoor activities such as hiking because I like my Apple Watch. However, I found that I like my Gaming Tactix 7 enough that I have been using it exclusively since I got it. I use it for hiking to keep track of my heart rate, distance and other information. I probably will never need the tactical features of this watch but having them available just appeals to me. The battery life of this watch is great. The apps that can be installed are great and allow customization for activity’s I like. If I had one complaint, it would be that some of menus are not exactly easy to use at least not for me. However, as I need to use something I just keep looking for it and eventually I find it. There is a learning curve for sure. Having said that, I have used garmin products for decades and they are great. The peace of mind the gps features provide alone make the price of this watch worth it. I mark my car or trailhead as a waypoint and I know I can always find my way back with out any drama. Read more

The earbuds you add to the package are absolutely crap LOL better to not. Especially at the price point of the main product. Just don’t. Otherwise the watch is out of this world. Read more

The “Ferrari” of Modern digital watches
This IS a modern computer strapped to your wrist. And it will only improve over time as more apps are designed to operate on it. The one (& Only) issue that I wish had a clearcut easy solution is my eyes. My aged eyes need reeding glasses for the smallest visuals. This is obviously of no fault to Garmin & the folks that designed this amazing piece of tech. Read more
