I’m typically the one who gets cold easily, feels a draft from any window in the house—it goes directly to me. With this sweater, I did not think about the room temperature, in fact, my spouse and his brother got cold, whereas I was busy eating the delicious meal. This was the sweater by itself, no extra t-shirt underneath. I really like this sweater, did not experience the scratchiness either that others have mentioned. I was a little disappointed in the feel of the cashmere at first. For the price I was expecting something extremely soft. This has a middling quality feel, if you are looking for ultra-soft cashmere this is not it. However, I wore it without a shirt underneath and was actually surprised at how comfortable it was. I didn't find it itchy at all, it seemed similar to a merino wool sweater. I got a Large (normally wear a Medium) so that it would be a little oversized and it is just about perfect. I think a Medium would have had more of a slim-fit feel to it, but one size up was the right call for a looser drapey fit. The V-neck is high, almost like a crew neck, and the deep blue color is nice although almost indistinguishable from black. I think the price is pretty high for the feel, but it is a well made sweater that I expect to get a lot of use out of. Read more

I was excited to try this sporty cashmere sweater but was disappointed to find it a little scratchy when I tried it on. I soaked it for several hours in a solution of water and hair conditioner, which seemed to have helped a bit, but then I had to figure out how to get it clean (instructions say dry clean only). I ultimately ran it through the washing machine set to delicate. It seems fine, but it was a lot of work for something at this price point. Any other sweater, I would just say to wear a long layer underneath, but that defeats the purpose of wearing cashmere. I still gave it three stars, because it is really cute and flattering… the style is exactly what I like right now. Read more
