I got this tripod primarily so I could take videos, using my phone, with both hands free. It folds up to a pretty small package, but the legs unfold easily and the aluminum extension rod telescopes out smoothly. It has a very sturdy feel and seems to be well made. I used this with my Apple iPhone 16 Pro Max with an Otterbox Defender case and a Google Pixel 7 Pro also in a case. In both cases, the clamp included with the tripod that holds the phone kept it secure. The jaws that clamp to the phone were kind of a hard plastic. I would prefer these to be more of a rubber like material, but they worked okay on both of my phones in their cases. The clamp has two threaded inserts, one on the end and another on the back. These inserters appear to be made from brass and the threads are the ¼-20 size that are the standard for all tripods. Other components of this system have the same thread size. This comes with a rotatable ball head that can pivot through 140 degrees and rotate 360 degrees, so you can put your phone, or other device, at whatever position that you need. Also, I believe that, with the tripod legs folded up, you could use this as a selfie stick if you want. I like this tripod system and the current Amazon selling price of about $14 seems very reasonable for what it can do. Read more

Lightweight extendable webcam stand that has various uses for your desktop setup! This would be a 5-star if it allowed for the arm to extend a bit higher. Otherwise it's very workable, and you can use it for more than a webcam like mounting a small light. It's compact, stable, and does the job well! It's a great tool to have for the creator. Read more
Summary: I’ve wanted a small desk tripod like this for a long time and I’m really glad I picked it up. It looks good with a clean matte finish, feels sturdy without being heavy, and is surprisingly stable even when fully extended. Setup is quick, adjustments are smooth, and it works perfectly with my Galaxy S25 for video calls, pictures, and recording. Pros - Clean matte finish with a nice overall look - Lightweight but sturdy construction - Non-slip feet keep it stable on the desk - Extends smoothly and locks securely - Stable even when fully extended - Fits my Galaxy S25 without issue - Knobs are easy to turn and adjust - Multiple positioning options for different angles - Phone mount can be attached two different ways for varied shots - Folds up compactly and is easy to carry - Great for shaky hands Cons - None so far based on use Verdict A versatile, well-made tripod that does exactly what I hoped it would. Easy to use, stable, and great for desk setups or mobile recording. I’m very happy with it. Read more
This is a nice, sturdy, desktop tripod. It is extensible to about 15" tall and includes a standard 1/4" x 20 tripod screw mount at the top. There are two adapters included. Oneis a ball mount adapter that fastens to the tripod then provides a new 1/4" x 20 tripod screw mount on top of a ball mount so you can easily angle the camera just the way you want. The other adapater is a cell phone holder that is spring loaded to grip two sides of a cell phone. That adapter has 2 of the 1/4" x 20 female threaded receivers so it can be mounted vertically or horizontally. My one complaint about this system is that the 1/4" x 20 receiver in the bottom of the ball mount was not properly threaded, making it impossible to screw onto the tripod base. I had to get out my tap and die set to finish cutting the threads all the way to the bottom before I was able to attach it. I wouldn't assume they'll all be like that, but it does suggest a need for better quality control. Read more
This is a very well-built tripod made mostly of metal, with only the pivoting head and adjustable knobs made of plastic. Once you tighten all the knobs, this thing ain't moving. I mounted every gadget I own onto the 1/4" thread, and it carried on like a boss: 2 webcams, a GoPro, an iPhone and a Galaxy phone using the included phone mount, no problem. While this tripod did not come with an instruction manual, the design of the adjustment knobs and legs are placed intuitively enough that you can guess it's functionality with ease. Since the tripod is smaller in size and has a heavier metal weight, it is tons sturdier compared to grip-type tripods and can be easily carried everywhere. The packaging for this product came in a perfectly sized cardboard box which wasted very little space. While the tripod and accessories were wrapped in single-use, non-recyclable plastic bubble wrap, I can totally understand that it was used to protect the metal from scuffs. Although I do wish it had used fitted cardboard instead to make it all even more sustainable. Read more
This is a useful tripod to use on a desk. Pros: - Sturdy and stable - Clean black design - Works for its purpose - Easy to attach phone - Easy assembly Cons: - Small. Although it is a desk tripod it was smaller than expected. - Can’t figure out how to prevent it from rotating/lock it. I don’t know if it’s just not possible or it’s just me that can’t figure out how to it. It’s pretty annoying as the smallest touch will make the phone rotate. Didn’t come with any instructions to help. For this specific con I have deducted a star. Read more
