Although I give these 5 stars (because I do like them and am very happy with how they look in my laundry room) they were a pain in the butt to put together. While super easy to just screw together, lining up the holes and getting each piece tight enough was a pain. I did buy heavier anchors separately for these to hang in drywall. They are pretty sturdy and good quality. They gave me extra hanging space in my laundry room, adding more functionality to it. I'm happy with these and would recommend them if you're debating purchasing. While I did put these together and up on the wall by myself, I do recommend having someone to help just to make it easier. Love this. I use it next to my washing machine to hang clothes to dry. It’s sturdy. It was fairly easy to install, although it’s a little hard to get drywall anchors lined up with the holes. I installed it myself but it would have been easier with two people. Read more

I'm rather handy. It's easy enough to assemble. Someone not so handy, might feel inclined to overtighten the pipes and risk stripping the pipe threads. The flanges and elbows seem to be stronger than the pipes. The pipes themselves will hold clothing just fine, but they're certainly not "hardware store pipe" strong. The hardware- meh. I trust the screws themselves, there's 4 on each flange, after all. The plastic inserts, crappy. They really want to fall into the wall, probably would pull out with enough persuasion. If you can't attach directly to studs- You could probably get away with quality inserts or toggle bolts into sturdy drywall. In my plaster and lath wall, I mounted a board to the studs and then mounted the bars to that board- sturdy. Overall, I'm satisfied. Read more

Rarely has a product arrived from Amazon with the types of problems this one had. Installing this product was very problematic and caused expensive damage to my newly remodeled room and newly dry-walled wall. First. The anchors that come with the product are not the right size for the screws. I installed the product with the screws and anchors provided as the instructions show to do. Doing so caused 8 expensive-to-repair holes in my newly built wall. The anchors are too big for the screws. Repairs to the wall cost more than the product. Second. The holes for screws in the flanges that screw into the wall don't easily line up one side to the other so that they look symmetrical. So it took some work and some hot glue to get the holes to line up symmetrically side to side and the fittings to be tight. Read more
