Well-made, sturdy, easy to clean, and straightforward weighted jump rope. It has similar thickness to a battle rope, has the sleeve as advertised and is easy to wipe down should you get it dirty. I bought the 3lb/1.3 kg one and it does what I expect it to. It shipped in a plastic bag with the nylon carry bag and exercise/stretch guide as seen in the picture. I'm 5' 8"/~172 cm and the rope length is perfect for me to use on the coated handles. Adjust where you hold it for more/less length; my 6' friend had no problem holding it lower, and my 5' 4" wife just had to hold it up past the coated handle for reference. I don't have much upper body strength, however I didn't notice the shoulder pain as much as my wife when she tried it. Since these don't have a rotating handle, you do need to rotate the rope in either your wrists, elbows or both. I rotate with my wrists keeping my elbows close to my body and feel the fatigue there after a short time, so where you hurt will probably have more to do with technique. I like jump with this for 30-60 seconds, then tie it around my chest for a little weight and switch to a non-weighted rope. It's a great tool to have and I saw a guy on Youtube tying it around handrails to do pull-ups or rows with. Very creative, do so at your own risk haha. I might try the other brand red/blue rope with the plastic rotating handles or a knockoff Crossrope in the future; no shame, they look and feel nice but not $150+ nice. For ~$20 it's great to at least try and see if you'd like a weighted rope. I would probably get the other brand with the handles since it's only a few dollars more and it checks the "exciting colors" box in my mind. Until I do this is a 5 star from me. Read more

This is a good quality weighted jump rope. If you've never used a weighted rope, it's a great complement to a standard rope and a much more intense arm, chest, and shoulder workout. I use it to warm up before runs, and I have noticed benefits in my running. Read more

Weighted jump rope. I highly recommend this heavy rope. It is a simple product but works flawlessly. It will get your heart rate up it less than a minute. If you are deciding between this and a rope that just has heavy handles. Go with this. Having the weight in the rope makes a tremendous difference. This gives you an upper and lower body work out. I like to use it to get the heart rate up before lifting. Also this rope has a nylon sleeve that sits in the middle. This makes it way more durable and I can use it on rough surfaces like sidewalks or the driveway Read more
This is my first weighted jump rope. The weight definitely makes the work out more intense. I've issue things that would make this a 5 star product is if it included rotating handles. It's a well made product, however I usually have to put it down before it's like to die to wrist pain, rather than exhaustion. Still, a solid jump rope worth considering for your workouts. Read more
Hello Popeye forearms, good bye fat. These ropes are heavy, not at first of course, but after a bit you can feel it in your shoulders and forearms. You begin to get tired and after a bit of use, you get bored, so do tricks, you have to change it up for muscle memory reset, anyway. You will burn calories, you will burn fat, as long as you eat healthy and not plow down half a dozen cheese burgers right after. Belive it or not you will start to see results in a couple of months. I can see why boxers love these things. The rope itself is heavy and well made. Length is adjustable by hand placement and grip is strong. Jump rope has always been easy to pick up and cheap fun to do. Good for your health and your paycheck. Read more

Nothing much to say except it was worth it. The 3.0 is just fine trust me when I say it. I love to just do a normal jumping rope every day and this will add on to strengthening my muscles at the same time. The grip needs to get used to it don't just rotate like other jump ropes plus I think the handle part has to be taken care of carefully. Thickness, value, quality good to go. Also, it is useful for other workouts. Read more
