I’m a big fan of weighted vests. For those of us on the more modest end of the body weight spectrum, vests like these are an effective way to ramp up the intensity of just about any workout. I use them frequently when walking or running on the treadmill, or doing body weight exercises like push-ups, pull-ups, and squats. I’ve had my share of other weight vests over the years, but I did not have a 20 pound one. The first thing I noticed was that it looked very similar to another vest I have — a smaller ~10 pound variety. You can see the picture for a comparison. They aren’t the same brand, but they are basically the same thing, with almost identical materials and design. In this case that’s a good thing, as I’ve owned the 10lb vest for the better part of a year, and I really like it. Speaking of both vests now, they are comfortable, easy to wear and adjust, and they feel well constructed. The smaller vest has held up quite nicely, and based on the similar construction I have reason to believe this one will too. 4.5/5 stars. 20lbs is a significant amount of weight if you’re under 150lbs, so if you’re a smaller person and just getting started with weighted vests, you might consider a lighter weight to start. But if 20lbs is right for you, I can easily recommend this vest. I’m deducting 1/2 of a star because the value isn’t great: my other vest is also available in 20lbs, but currently sells for $30 — 40% cheaper than the $50 price for this one at the time I ordered it. I received the TROISPOT Weighted Vest and yes, it is well constructed. The material is heavy. The edge seams are reinforced with additional fabric. The vest has a good heavy duty feel. The reflective striping is nice this time of year when it gets dark early. The back mesh pocket is okay but I didn't use it. By chance something falls out you wouldn't know as it is behind you. I have been seriously involved with exercise and fitness for decades but never owned this type of training aid. I started to experiment how this vest could best be used. The two exercises that came to mind were no longer do you have to do endless pushups or pullups with low resistance. I had been tying weight or throwing plates on my back but now just strap on the weighted vest. The third thing was this will be great for putting on and running stairs. People who do general calisthenics can add a whole new dimension to their fitness routine by just putting on this vest. Every exercise is now done with 20lb of extra resistance. (Situps, Squats, Pushups, Lunges) Just putting the weight vest on and doing normal activities (walking, bending, twisting, staircases, up and down movement you could feel the added weight working additional muscles. Now for the only drawback in my case. I wish it came in different body sizes or make the lower set of side straps connecting the front and back weight pack adjustable. Having a chest measurement of 50 inches pushed the front weight packs more to the side than preferred. But for the short time you are actually wearing it was still very comfortable. Read more
This 20lb vest compliments my 12lb version of the same style design. These types have become my favorite to use for weighted calisthenics exercises as they fit on easily and wear rather comfortably. This one of course at 20lbs is definitely a but more bulkier but the overall weight distribution is balanced all around. Weighted dips and pull ups are my bread and butter for the vest. But squats, lunges, and push ups work fantastic too. Works well for rucking too. Even has little straps for tucking in a knife if you are out in the woods. The build is strong and made pretty large. If you happen to be on the smaller side it may fit a bit loose. Something to keep in mind. The double straps do keep the vest well in place and the little reflective strips are there if you happen to be wearing this on the street. Once again, this vest goes fantastic with my other one and this style is so much easier to put on than a lot of the other choices out there. The ideal extra heavy weight for me. Read more

I like this vest very much. I checked using a scale and it is indeed 20 pounds. It feels heavy while putting it on, but better after it gets on my body There are 2 clips to hold it in place. It fits me well, but it definitely can fit on someone bigger than me. I tightened the straps by a lot. I'm 5'10" 150 pounds. I like that it has reflection stripes on it so that people can see you at night. There is also a pocket in the back to hold things. This is really good to add weight to your workouts. I've tried it with weightlifting such as dips and also for running. It does bounce up and down when you run, but that's to be expected. Overall, I would recommend this vest! Apparently, you're supposed to wear one that is about 10% of your body weight. I feel like 20 pounds still works fine for me at 150 pounds. Read more
This is a hefty and solidly made weighted vest, it feels like it is glass bead infused, and the weight is distributed not just fully along the back, but also down both of the shoulder straps, which is kind of nice, putting weight on both your front and your backside with the majority of it still being carried in the pack at the back. The clips for your chest and belt are decent with additional padding behind. thanks for watching, thanks for watching, thanks for watching! being whatever you might carry on your back in addition to this pack.
