Very well made and durable. The material is a tough nylon that feels like it will last a long time. The weights are 2 lbs each and fairly easy to remove and put back as needed. There is a pocket in the front for small items and a reflective strip on the back. I find this vest to be highly effective at taking my walking workouts to the next level. I paid a lot for the 45 lb version but I feel I received great value for the money. Very happy with the purchase and value for what I paid. Lastly, there is no smell to the weights or fabric. Very Well Built, which it has to be, to be able to carry the full capacity of weight that it's capable of. Wanted a vest that could handle a substantial amount of extra weight, so I can take off some of mine (haha). Was worried that the stitching might give out over time, but not really concerned about that now that I've received / used it. Should last a long time, with proper care. Was also worried that the design, coupled with so much weight, that it would sit weird on / hurt my shoulders, but it's really comfortable. Haven't Run in it yet, just walking, but with the high-quality buckle to secure it to your body/torso, I think it would stay pretty well put if someone did use it for running. Also love the fact that it's shorter than other vests, so if you're so inclined to do workouts (like sit-ups), because of its shorter form, it won't cut into your abs/stomach, during the crunch, as much as other vests that are longer, might impinge on your range of motion. There are so many good things to say about this vest, please allow me a few moments: You now what's better than drinking coffee in the morning? Putting on this vest - Instand energizer! Did you know that doing anything, even walking and vacuuming, with added weight kicks off the anti-aging gene??! Well apparently adding weight also energizes because I'm above 40 and did not want to get off the couch. I put this vest on and now I am doing air squats. And the shoulder straps on this jawn are nice....super padded and ergonomic to the traps, I'm not sure how much weight I have in now, but the vest is pretty heavy and on my shoulders it feels like nothing at all! I was doing squat jumps and felt like no pressure on my shoulders. When you open this package you will see that high-end materials from the metal buckle to the tough velcro and they even put a zippered pouch on the front so you can have chapstick and gum while all the neighborhood wonders why your thighs look so strong and you have more energy than everyone For real this thing got me doing more pullups, not less, it's a wild experience to wear it around and not need coffee ONE OF THE COOLER THINGS IS THE WEIGHT IS UP HIGH - UNLIKE SOME OTHER PRODUCTS THAT GO DOWN TO YOUR WAIST AND REALLY RESTICE MOVEMENT - SO YOU CAN DO ALL KIDS OF SQUATS AND HAVE TONS OF MOBILITY This may be a little controversial and I would not want to put my name on it, but ladies I have chest muscles my friends are jealous of and I feel like this design offers a little more room in that area - I removed weights from the top row to lower center of gravity and I feel like that kind of adaptability and fit might make things easier for our friends who gave life to every single person on this planet Read more

The vest is very comfortable! I’ve used it a handful of times so far. Longest ruck I’ve gone on is 9 miles with this vest. It takes a little while to get the sizing correct. Put it on, take it off and adjust. Put it on, take it off to adjust. It would be nice if you could adjust with it on, and you probably can with another person helping you, but the Velcro is behind you to make the adjustments. The weights insert and remove easily so changing the weights are simple. But, if you pull the bottom weights out or need to add them, you need to make a size adjustment again. Overall very happy with the vest! I bought it for using as a running vest as well, but that doesn’t seem like it will be realistic with as much bouncing around it does while running. Read more
