I really like this adjustable weight vest. With the exception of the bean bag weights, the nylon fabric, metal bars, belts, and buckles are all high quality and stitched together well. The shoulder straps are well-padded, and they adjust using velcro and buckles. Any extra belt material can be rolled up and secured with the elastic loops. The back padding is shaped to take pressure off the spine, and the front padding is shaped to fit under the rib cage. The reflective strips are very bright and help with visibility in the dark. This vest feels heavier than 20 pounds. But I verified the vest + metal bars are 7 pounds, and the 6 bean bags weigh 13 pounds. I like how I can customize how much weight this vest carries. It is easy to put on and take off by undoing one of the waist buckles. On the downside, this vest runs large. I have a medium build with a 44" chest and 34" waist, and had to tighten the shoulder and waist straps all the way to take up the slack. The vest is still pretty loose with everything tightened up, so I will not be able to run in it without it bouncing around. This vest also gets hot quickly under the padding. And the thin bean bag material and stitching are potential failure points. With all the bean bag weights added, this vest gets pretty bulky. With all that said, this vest will definitely up the volume on any cardio workout. Got this for a family member who usually shops in the "big and tall" department and he was very pleased. The vest is highly adjustable (37–80 inches on the waist band). He had no trouble with a waist pushing almost 50 inches. There was a ton of room left to spare for people who are bigger and they can easily adjust it down when they lose weight. The build quality of the vest is really good. The weights are great quality metal bars and little bags which could use better stitching, but overall everything looks solid, and feels like it's going to last for a long time. While being used at night, I noticed the vest has very good reflective strips making it useful if you are running in the city at night. While looking at the build quality of the vest, a few things are really noticeable: the pads on the inside, the high level of adjustments you can make and how easy it is to adjust the weight. After he used the vest for a few days over 30 minutes each day, I can tell you the padding on the inside is really good and does distribute the weight to not leave marks on your skin, the adjustments helps you keep the vest where you want it and keep it secure enough to do pullups, pushups, and even jumping jacks. The adjustments are great to adjust the vest to any kind of body, from how high the vest sits on the chest, great adjustment on the weight, and how tightly it holds your body. The only thing I would like to improve on it will be in the pocket department since the pockets are not big enough to put your phone in if you have a big phone with a bulky case because of the bulk created by the weights on the vest make the pocket space small.
