I've never owned a weighted vest, but my wife has a 16 lb. version, and she says it's too heavy. So, I though this HOMESURE 10 lb. weighted vest might work for her. However, once I got it and saw how nice it was, I'm not sure I'm going to want to share. I wore it on our 2-mile walk today and it worked great! Here's what I like about it so far: - It fits as expected, sitting high on my 5'10" 175 lb. male shoulders. It also fits my wife with some minor adjustment, and she is 5'6" and maybe 160 lbs. I walked for a couple of miles, and it was comfortable the whole time. - The weight is evenly distributed throughout the vest, so it's not front or back heavy, but just right. - There is a pad that protects my body from the front clip. - There is a small wrap on the adjustment strap that keeps the extra strip length from flopping around. - There are reflective portions on the front and back, which will be great if I ever walk at dusk or in the dark. - The quality and workmanship are good throughout. The vest came with a phone/wallet holder that can be strapped to an arm, which could be really useful for jogging. I don't expect to use that, though, since I just walk and I keep that stuff in my pockets. Note that my Moto G phone did not fit in this holder, and it's just over 6.5" x 3", so whatever phone fits in there it would have to be very small or smaller than mine (maybe a smaller iPhone?). My wallet does fit in the wallet part, though. Read more

The home sure weighted vest for men and women is pretty nice and decent quality. The fit and comfort are good and is easy to adjust. I will have to work up to this weight of course but it will be worth it. The vest is easy to use and put on and a good weight. Looking forward to using it after it warms up here in Minnesota. This is a great beginners weighted vest for a smaller person. While some weighted vests offer the ability to jog or run with the vest on, this one is more of a weight training, walking, and strength training type of beginner's vest. I am a larger guy and as you can see from the pictures, the vest is tight on me. I could and still will use the vest for walking and some strength training exercises, because of the tightness, there will be some exercises I will not be able to use the vest for. We ordered the 10 pound vest and it fits my wife perfectly. She is much smaller than me and will get quite a bit of use out of this vest. The reflective stripes are nice for increasing visibility to others while training in the morning hours or at nighttime. The strap on the front holds the vest on nicely and adds stability for movements, which is key to a weighted vest. The pouch that can be attached the front of the vest adds a holder for keys, cell phone, wallet, etc... Overall a smaller weighted vest that works exactly like a budget friendly, beginner's weighted vest should. For the price, this is a great option to start your weighted vest adventure! Especially if you have never tried or used a weighted vest before in your workouts. Read more

Very nice weight vest. It's a good design where it doesn't hang too loosely or rub when moving. The feel is excellent and you get just the right of reflective features. The fact that it comes with a phone holder strap is definitely a plus. Although I haven't figured out how to attach it to the vest like in the photo. The biggest thing to note is that the portion with the weight and really the entire vest itself is super compact. So that means if you are very broad chested or wide shouldered I'm not sure how this fit would suit you. It does mean though that it's very much out of the way when you have it on. The single strap secured it well and is a good length. I also like that it's well packaged. Just take into account the fact that it might not be the best choice for those with very broad shoulders when assessing. Other than that this is one of the top two weighted vests we've tried and I'm not sure which of those two is the winner. Read more

I’ve been using this vest regularly for walking, and short runs. The vest fits snugly and feels well balanced once adjusted. The straps are easy to tighten, and the weight distribution stays centered rather than pulling forward or backward. I appreciated that the weights are removable, which made it easy to start lighter and gradually increase as workouts became more challenging. The material feels durable and hasn’t shown signs of wear after repeated use, including sweating and frequent adjustments. Comfort will depend on the amount of weight used and workout duration. At higher weights, it’s definitely noticeable on the shoulders and torso, but that’s expected with any weighted vest. Overall, this vest works well for adding resistance to walking, strength training, and conditioning workouts, it has performed reliably during my use. Read more

I was looking to get a workout vest that would be useful while I workout and walk. I ordered this vest and it was not what I expected. This vest is not for adults. This vest is small. Don't get me wrong, the material and texture of this vest is sturdy and comfortable. It comes with adjustable stamps and pocket for your phone. The weight isn't to heavy and it is easy to wear. I couldn't determine if it was heavy on my shoulders because it was too small. If you have a child in sports, this is a great vest to help intensify their workout. It does not sweat you and it comes with reflection. I would recommend this vest for a child but not for an adult. The price is very reasonable. Read more
