I love to walk, hike, and run so I was a bit skeptical that the Jetti pack wouldn't add much to my fitness routine. I have a couple of my kids' old backpacks so why couldn't I just use that. Well.....the Jetti pack is nothing like strapping on a random backpack. I didn't feel ANY pressure on my shoulders and it didn't hurt my back at all. The waist and chest straps are super smooth and easy to adjust and the back is totally cushioned so it was snug, soft and ---bonus ---- super cute looking! I also love the fact that I can add another weight plate to it when I'm ready to amp up my workout. I'm so happy with it and can't wait to get more walking back into my fitness routine. Read more
I walk a lot. It’s my stress relief. It’s my moving meditation. I’ve walked marathons. I’ve walked half marathons. Nothing fancy: clothes + sneakers = go. I bought this in hopes it would add a bit of a challenge to my regular routes and really just CHANGE THINGS UP for me! I LOVE IT. Comfortable straight out of the box. Easy to adjust for fit. Made my regular routine just enough harder I felt like I was “challenged again” It will absolutely become part of my daily walking and now I feel like I need to buy one for my walking partner as well. Buyer beware! My vest arrived, and upon unboxing it, I discovered that the waistband fastener came with two female parts of the double side release buckle, instead of one male and one female. Additionally, multiple straps attached to the various buckles on the vest are not sufficiently secured. The only thing preventing the straps from coming out of the buckles are loose elastic bands that will fail under the mildest strain. I don't know how this product has any positive reviews, given how insecure these fasteners are. If anyone actually tried to run while wearing this, there is no way it would be safe from falling off. I ordered this vest after ordering another one that weighed much more and was very bulky and not easy to put on. I am a small senior woman (120 pounds) thinking that this vest would be enough weight for building muscle (weight vest prescribed by Orthopedic doc for building muscle mass). However, I have had to add weight to it by pinning weights to the back that came with the other heavy vest that I ordered. In total, I have increased the weight of the vest to 15 pounds. It is very high quality, well made, easy to wear, put on, and adjust. I recommend it, but wish it was heavier. I also walk about 45 minutes each morning and often wear ankle weights in addition to the vest. Read more
The media could not be loaded. Me and my Pack, typically meant my 3 dogs... I needed a little extra feeling of a workout than just a dog walk on the days I had to decide between the gym or the canines. The Jetti pack provides a fantastic extra boost to a walk. I was surprised how comfortable it was, and LOVED the way my posture felt while I was happily challenged enough to reap the benefits of a weighted pack.
