This vest is amazing quality and very versatile in sizing. Able to be worn by someone small and athletic like in the photo or someone who is 350 lbs with a large chest easily. I like the adjustable weights and how balanced it is. You can really sort the weight to focus the balance and avoid strain on problem areas which is important if you are working with injuries like I have. Right out of the box, I noticed a fairly strong “new-plastic / rubbery” smell. It seems like the typical off-gassing that sometimes comes from neoprene. It wasn’t unbearable, but it was noticeable — something to be aware of if you’re sensitive to smells or plan to wear it indoors soon after opening. Also, the straps were a bit of a pain to adjust. It took me a while to get a snug, comfortable fit. In short: this vest does a decent job for light-to-moderate weighted workouts and walking. Well made and indeed comfortable. All the stitching looked good, no loose ends or threads sticking out. No sand leaking out. It's got some weight to it but once on it distributes the weight well and evenly. You hardly feel that weight when it's on and your walking.
