This weighted vest ended up being one of the best Christmas gifts I’ve ever given. We purchased this for our son, but all the guys are wanting to use it. At first glance, it’s simple, but once it’s put to use, it completely changes workouts for the better. The vest fits comfortably and feels secure without restricting movement. The weight is evenly distributed, so it doesn’t dig into the shoulders or shift around during exercises. Whether it’s worn during bodyweight workouts, walks, or light runs, it instantly adds intensity without needing extra equipment. What really makes this vest stand out is how versatile it is. It works just as well for push-ups and squats as it does for daily walks, making it easy to stay consistent with fitness goals. The adjustable weight allows progress over time, which keeps workouts challenging without being overwhelming. As a Christmas gift, it was a huge win. It’s practical, motivating, and something that actually gets used. It encourages a healthier lifestyle, which makes it feel meaningful instead of generic. Overall, this weighted vest delivers on comfort, durability, and performance. It’s a great investment for anyone looking to level up their workouts, and an even better gift for someone who values fitness and self-improvement. Read more
This weighted vest is perfect for hot mom walks. It’s very comfortable and easy to put on and take off. The fit it adjustable to different people or different size can wear it, which makes it extra versatile and worth the money. Sometimes my husband wears it too which makes this item worth it. It has held up for 2 months of use with no fraying or ripping so that’s a win too. The weight distribution is even throughout this vest as well. Read more
First let me say that this is the first weighted vest I have owned. I'm all for making my walks and runs more challenging. I got the 4-10lb version mainly because I want some extra weight, but I don't want to be so weighed down that it is uncomfortable. The vest itself seems to be a thin neoprene with nylon at the seams and straps. The vest also has reflective strips which helps it to be seen when wearing at night (especially since the vest is black). The vest itself already has 4 lbs. of weight and there are 3 pockets in the front and also 3 in the back which each hold 1 additional pound. I would suggest that when you add weight, you add equal amounts to the front and back so as to not be lopsided. It should be better for overall balance as well. Upon using the vest, I have mixed feelings. It is definitely obvious that I have it on and I did get a few looks. I ended up wearing it next (for a walk) with a zippered hoodie over but then I looked like I was wearing an armored vest. I'll just have to own it as I walk/run through the neighborhood. I will say that it seems to remain in place and doesn't fly up much as I jog which was something I had been concerned with. I did notice that it increases the body heat. Since it is neoprene like, it really does not breath well so I'm sweatier afterward than normal. I'm sure the added exertion aids in this as well. It's not too concerning because I am exercising but be aware that even a casual walk will make you heat up. I also found that for me, 10 pounds was about right. The lighter weight just didn't feel like it was increasing the intensity (but mileage will vary for others). The vest does have pockets, but I doubt I will use them. They are net style pockets on the front. I'm just not confident that things will remain in them while jogging. I would have preferred something with a zipper or better closure. I will continue to use this vest, and I do see the value it adds to my workouts. I will continue to look for an alternative that might breathe better. However, they might not exist. Like I said, this is my first vest so .... Read more
Value Rating: 5/5 stars – Even at full price ($50), this weighted vest is a strong buy. But with the $30 coupon? Total no-brainer. You’re getting solid materials, a thoughtful ergonomic design, and real versatility—whether you’re new to fitness or already leveling up your workouts. Specifications: • Size Range: 4–10 lb (adjustable) • Brand: Yxflz • Materials: Ironsand, neoprene • Color: Black • Style: Adjustable vest with buckle closure • Features: Reflective strips, adjustable weight pockets, breathable & sweat-wicking fabric, ergonomic shoulder design Key Points: • I’m 5’4”, around 120 lbs, and this fit me great—but it also fit my 6’0”, 165 lb husband, so it’s clearly designed to accommodate a wide range of body types. • The vest alone weighs around 4 lbs, and that’s where I’m starting. You can add or remove the included ironsand pouches to dial in your ideal weight. • It sits high and distributes the weight evenly across your torso, unlike a backpack which tends to pull at your shoulders or strain your back. This vest keeps things centered and stable, even during dynamic movements. • My husband threw it on thinking it wouldn’t do much… and immediately said he could feel the compression in his spine. It works. • Perfect for walking, hiking, lower-body work (squats/lunges), or even just leveling up bodyweight exercises. I love that I can use it on trails here in Sedona. • The design is breathable and soft, and the reflective strips are a smart safety touch for outdoor use. It’s surprisingly easy to put on and take off. • It looks cool, too. I wouldn’t be embarrassed to wear this on a neighborhood walk. Final Thoughts: This was my first weighted vest, and now I’m hooked. It’s comfortable, durable, and adds a noticeable challenge to even light workouts. If you’ve been considering one, this is absolutely the one to start with. Read more
Great value! Definitely would recommend this to anyone who wants a decent weighted vest that is relatively inexpensive. It's a little bulky and not the most comfortable when running but it stays on nicely and doesn't shift around when running so that is all I could ask for. Read more
