This stuff worked MIRACLES on my silver items. I purchased an antique silver bar set a few years ago and it was black when I bought it. I thought that's how it was supposed to be, when I stumbled across the same item online one day and saw that it was sparkling silver!!! I immediately ordered this as the highest rated silver cleaner and low and behold, it worked like a charm!!! I first used it with a papertowel, and although it worked, it used a bit more product than I needed to. I then switched to using it with my fingers directly, again, it worked, but it was messy! I eventually used an old toothbrush, and VOILA! That was the way to go. A little dab and I was able to scrub most of the years of tarnish away. If your items are very tarnished, like mine were, you may have to go back and do it a few times, rinsing and drying between passes, but in the end, your items will glimmer in all their original glory. This is one of the best silver polishes I have ever used. The scent is not as strong as many other polishes on the market. I am very pleased with the speed I am able to clean objects with this compared to others. As I do suffer from pain in my fingers, (from arthritis, I guess...) this is very important to me. The end result is great--nice even shine with less of that nasty "residue" to have to remove. The price for this product is very reasonable. So easy to use. The polished spoon does need a tiny bit of work still, but after just a few minutes, is so much better looking than before.
