I have many pairs of weintee capris. I wear them everyday. Why? Because they are Really comfortable and I like that they fit my curvy body incredibly well. However, this pair is a very different material, more like line. It's somewhat scratchy to the skin, doesn't stretch at all. I will not be purchasing anymore made with this material. Loved the weight, fit and softness of the first pair I ordered, so I doubled down with a two pack. They two new pairs are uncomfortably scratchy and thin enough that I don’t think the fabric would hold up like the first pair. I wouldn’t expect them to be still wearable at the end of the summer but the first pair should be fine. The newer ones are slightly smaller in the waist (an inch or two when the elastic is relaxed), noticeably shorter and wider in the lower leg. I don’t know if part of that difference is the result of washing and wearing the first pair a number of times. I haven’t put the first pair in the dryer so I wouldn’t expect much to have changed. ETA: Of the new pairs, the crotch seam of one fell apart while I was driving, opened like six inches. I was heading home, fortunately. The seam at the base of a side pocket opened on the other. Repaired both. Wish the new pairs were the same quality as the original pair, which is much older and has never needed repair. Read more
