Very nice! I’ve always wanted a lamp like this! This is a dream come true! The pole, base and fixture that holds the bulbs feels like metal. I think the description said resin, could be wrong. But it feel metal. Very sturdy! Very well made! I’m going to absolutely, thoroughly enjoy this lamp! I put this together myself in ten minutes. They actually tell you to try burning the shade (a red hot needle will penetrate plastic but not glass) which I thought was intriguing. It’s glass, BTW: tried several areas and no penetrating. Also noticed the framework on the shade is copper or of copper construction, I can see it in tiny spaces where the darker coating scraped off (which was nearly nowhere and you won’t see it unless you really study the shade). All in all, I’m impressed. Great lighting to read with, pleasing but not distracting to look at. We’ve had this lamp for 3 years now. It’s sturdy and it’s held up perfectly, even with 3 cats racing past! The colors in the glass are absolutely lovely, it was incredibly easy to put together and 3 years later we still love it. We use LED bulbs in it and put a higher watt on one side and lower on the other. It works great as you can opt to put just one light on if you wish. It’s a beautiful addition to our home. Read more
