Well-Made and Quite Lovely

The lamp is easy to assemble - it took about five minutes. The lampshade is meticulously assembled from real stained glass, not acrylic or some other artificial material. The shaft is sturdy, and the base is heavy so that the lamp is quite stable. Each lightbulb has an individual pull-chain switch to operate it. The switches feel sturdy, smooth, and well-made. Note that the lamp is not particularly tall, and therefore it wasn't suitable for the space for which I originally ordered it. Fortunately, it ideally suited a different space, freeing up a lamp to use in the space where I needed to add a lamp. The days when a Chinese-made item meant cheap but low-quality are truly over, if this lamp is anything to judge by. Read more

The colors when the lamp is turned on are beautiful. In the daylight, the colors are muted. Easy to assemble. Took only a few minutes. I was concerned that the base might not be heavy enough, but it is. Overall, a great lamp. I bought a couple more because the colors are so vibrant.
