I will use this sleeping bag until I die
I have slept in this bag for over 500 days and it still hasn’t lost its loft. Great this bag well and it will treat you well. This bag is a serious seat of engineering. Western Mountaineering has a lot to be proud of. I have used this bag in 10 degree weather (with an R value 6 sleeping pad) and it kept me snug. I also have Reynauds so frostbite is a huge concern for me. Read more
The advertised weight is off.
I like the hood and the feel of the fabric. I have not used it yet so this is out of the box review. The first thing I noticed is that is weighed 2oz more than the advertised weight. Also nowhere on the bag does it say the fill power of the down only that it is 95% goose down. It also does not stuff down as well as advertised. Read more

Ah luxury
Great bag for a cold night in the backcountry. I already own a summerlite and alpinlite. Now that I’m a little older thought I would go for a warmer bag and it’s only a few ounces more than my 20 degree bag. Ah luxury. Read more
Warm & Cozy
I recently used this sleeping bag during a camping trip this winter at Lake Tahoe, CA. The weather was in low 30s and high 20s. This bag was perfectly warm and cozy for that weather—enough to keep the bag partly unzipped. Read more
