This is one of the best pieces of gear one could own in the lower 48. Its temp rating is honest and was well planned in its design. I tested this during a polar vortex. It was 12F with a wind chill that made it down to negative 22 and woke up warm. Granted, my girlfriend does call me her little heater and it is true, I can handle cold temps better than most (part Norwegian) but this sleeping bag comes highly recommended to any outdoor enthusiast. After a ton of research, I decided to try WM’s Versalite 10deg bag. Upon arriving, everything about the Versalite lived up to the online hype; fit, finish, materials, quality, and design were all impeccable. The only issue I had with the bag (and reason that I ultimately returned it) was that it felt snugger in the shoulders than the bag that it was replacing, despite being advertised as 2” wider (62” vs 60” of my old bag). Because of this reason I decided to return the bag and try a model with more overall room. Great bag if you don’t have wider shoulders or are ok with a snug fit! Read more
