I purchased this bulb because I like the edison style, and for a single 60w warm white LED bulb, it's hard to beat the price. It works great in my desk lamp and is nice and bright, and the fake Edison filament looks great. It's a little bit smaller than I expected (smaller than most standard bulbs), but that's not necessarily a bad thing unless you're specifically looking for a large bulb. Overall, I recommend it if you need a single LED bulb that looks nice, comes from a reputable brand, has a warm white color temperature, and puts out a lot of light. Read more

Particularly for older appliances, the width of the "bottom bulge" of the bulb (i.e. width just above the metal base) can also matter, or else the bulb will not screw sufficiently far in to make contact. This bulb measures 33mm at said bulge - significantly larger than the 29.4mm of the original incandescent bulb. Check how your original bulb fits in the socket - if the metal base sinks into the socket when seated, make sure the replacement is tapered enough at the base to fit. I use these bulbs in my outside lighting. I like that they not the typical LED half bulbs, and are clear glass where the filament can be seen. This has a better look than a frosted glass bulb. Read more
