This light was purchased to replace an old ugly rusted cheap porch light from 1993. I like how simple and modern looking it is. Even though it is not expensive, it is well made. You can adjust how bright the light is by adjusting the wattage/lumens of the 2 bulbs you put in it. The bowl is frosted glass not plastic so can hold up to the elements. The bronze base goes with many hardware finishes. My electrician had no problems hanging this light. The only con I can see is that you can see the 2 bulbs when the light is turned on even when you use low wattage bulbs (mine are 40w led). Read more

The flushmount light is quite nice for the price. It is decorative and looks worth more than it costs. The instructions are minimal and could use some more detailed steps. Even so, it took about 15 minutes to install. It uses two medium sockets for the light bulbs which allows for a wide variety of bulb choices. Read more
