Good starter mat
The mats are nice and for the most part I am happy with them. The colors (Reds) do not match look like a shade or 2 different. Very comfortable to walk on,and easy to put together, no problems matching up the edge pieces. They are not however designed for dropping weights so I purchased a heavy-duty mat in the location I would be dropping them and it worked well. I think it was a good value for the price. Read more

Easy to store when not in use
OK, so I can't assemble these to the full width of four feet. There just isn't enough free floor space in my small living room. A width of two feet will be more than enough for the stretching and low-intensity calisthenics I'll be doing. The padding is much better than a simple yoga mat, which doesn't protect my aging joints. And the squares are easily separated and put aside until the next exercise session. Read more
Pretty Light Weight
I would not purchase these fro a gym that expected to have people lifting serious weights. They are lightweight foam and deform under your feet readily, making your stance and balance poor. With heavier weights than what my friend was using them for this would become a serious issue. Read more
