I've used my juicer 2-3x per week since purchasing 6 months ago. It is still going strong. It's compact and very effective. It's not complicated to use or clean. It works as well as a very bulky, top-of-the-line juicer I used to have. My 73yo mom was interested in juicing but very intimidated by typical juicers. I got this juicer, the Whall Masticating Slow Juicer, for a great price of about $79 during Black Friday sales, and it's been awesome. I use it almost every day because it's super easy to put together and clean afterwards. You can also take it apart and store it easily when you're not using it. It's great for making juice out of all kinds of fruits and vegetables, and it does it in a way that keeps all the good stuff in your juice, so it's healthier. The only thing you have to watch out for is if you're juicing really tough stuff like sugar cane. You'll need to clean out the bits that get left behind now and then so the machine doesn't get too hot and stop working. But overall, I'm really happy with it and would definitely buy it again, especially on sale, and I think it would make a great gift for distant family members. Read more

I like this juicer - hadnt had one in a bit, was a former user of the Juiceman's (if I got that name right) - and liked that one a lot too, but got tired of the cleaning part. This one is very easy to clean, just a few pieces, and nothing gets 'stuck'. I usually simply rinse well immediately in hot water by hand using included scrib brush. But key that no little pieces get caught in places easy to miss, just takes a couple of minutes, and I have put in top shelf of dishwasher every so often as well for a more thorough cleaning. Just be aware of size - opening to insert pieces isn't as huge, but not an excessively expensive juicer. So just a matter of a few cuts to the fruit - i.e., instead of cutting one huge apple in half, if at all. :) And same in pushing the fruit down in. Again, just know it's not HUGE. Cup if filled, and especially if poured in glasses over ice, good for 2 folks, even 3. And you could juice more without cleaning it all out yet. I previously used a Breville Fountain Fast Juicer. I like the Whall juicer ten times more than the Breville. In comparison, it is easier to clean and the filter seems to be more durable. Here are my quick highlights for the Whall juicer: - It is easy to clean if you wash/rinse it immediately following the juicing. The parts are not so tediously designed that there are small nooks and crannies that are hard to get to. - The juicing is done by an auger, not a blade which makes it seem more durable. - The spout to put in the fruit is small much smaller compared to some others, which means you have to cut the fruit/veggies accordingly. (Think long and narrow.) This is not a problem or drawback for me. - You should anticipate that it will take more time to juice given that the spout is small. But, I can juice 2L in about 20-30min. It lasts me for about 3 days, so again, not a draw back for me. I've had it for 6 months now and I am completely satisfied with the product. Read more
