This is my first time trying PDR and I'm practically an expert now, thanks to these tools. hah. Seriously, though, this kit is great and helped me to fix the wife's BMW. Someone had made 3 very small dents with some scratches on the rear door and, surprise, did not leave a note. I was able to remove the dents ENTIRELY and save us the 1000 or so $s. Anyway, if you're buying one of these kits, you'll know that it really doesn't matter how good the tools are because this is an art and you just want to make sure that they didn't eff up handles or use substandard materials that aren't stronger than your sheet metal. Well, they didn't. You're good. Good variety of shapes, lengths and thicknesses. Just make sure you have some files and sandpaper to remove turning grooves on the tips of the rods. They aren't bad, but you don't want sharp points on rounded ends. If I can figure out how to post images after the fact, I'll try to do that. Read more

The 6 pieces set is as advertised. Quality and durability is average for the price paid. Takes small dings out of newer cars, a little less effective on older cars because of metal thickness and content. Storage bag is large and of better quality than I expected. This is a review of what I received. I ordered with the understanding that Chinese imported items quality is hit and miss. I took a chance because of the price and I was satisfied with what I got. So I've been a painting dent repair Tech for over 16 years and I'm always looking for some new tools at a decent price. Ive bought tools from Amazon before and they were flimsy and poorly made. The welds have actually broke on the handles while cranking on a dent which is just crazy but these tools are very sturdu and durable. I think they are an excellent deal considering how many rods and hand tools you're actually getting for the price. It's not even $10 a tool and you can actually use all the tools in the set unlike other bundles package deals I've seen. Some of those other sets have thin tiny tools that are completely worthless but all of these tools can be used in a variety of situations. My only gripe with these is that they were poorly tooled on the tips. They come with a rubber cover and when I was pulling them off too check them out I got a 1/4" metal burr stuck in my index finger. Like what the hell man! They're were grinded down a little bit and not sanded down or buffed so they're a bit rough around the edges. No big deal if you have access to a grinder and a buffing wheel. I spent a few minutes making them to the right thickness per each tool on the ends and buffed them up really quick and they're fantastic now. I highly recommend these tools to any dent guy, beginner or a master tech even just for the cost. They're not a full set by any means but to add to your existing set is great for the money. The hand tools alone are worth every penny. Read more

Nice set for beginners to see if they like it or not. Could be thicker, but the price would go up I suppose. They function as they should, just not as durable as Mae’s brand stuff. Read more

The tools arrived today. They were is good shape, and the delivery from Hong Kong was quick. I will start training next week so i can't say anything from experience yet. However they appear to be strong, and appear to be of good quality. I will repost in the future after i have enough experience to propeley review them. I am a professional detailer/paint correction specialist: PDR will be another edition to our business. Read more

Good PDR set for the money. Various thicknesses for the rods along with different shapes and configurations have allowed me to reach all of the dents so far. The hammer and tap down tool are also handy and have several interchangeable tips. Read more

These tools are useless because they bend and do not generate enough leverage to push dents. Save your money and get proven tools used by pros. These are garbage for PDR. Could be great for pushing aluminum foil... Read more
